Excellent hotel, we had a double room which had plenty of space, just as you see on the picture. Extremely clean and very comfortable beds, together with a good size bathroom. We had a very quiet room and heard no noise whatsoever. Lovely cooked breakfast each morning which is suitable for most people, as you can have whatever you like....

Stayed from Friday the 12th till Sunday the 14th of May. The booking process was very straightforward and management accommodated our late arrival...thank you for that. The decor is tasteful and the self contained double room although small was very comfortable and contained everything one would need for a weekends stay. We. It's had a comfortable nights sleep and enjoyed...

Friendly welcome and generally. Shame about lack of lift as our room on second floor. Studio style large en suite room . with plenty of space though wardrobe small and only 4 coathangers. Sofa in front of wallmounted TV. Parking compact but adequate - glad we arrived early and had choice of parking spots. Breakfasts good - plenty of choice....

Lovely and clean hotel in a great central location; 10 minute walk to the university and 5 minutes to the shops. Lovely breakfast, which is suitable for a vegetarian/ vegan as you can build your own hot breakfast. One issue I found was the noise, which is why I have knocked a star off; I needed an early night as...

We were greeted by the very friendly and efficient Lorraine. She made our stay brilliant! The staff were all excellent, the rooms spotlessly clean and well appointed with excellent furnishings and decor.,the breakfast was top quality too! Lovely ingredients that were obviously sourced by locality and quality rather than cost.We will recommend to everyone. The Clifton area is beautiful, and...

I stayed here overnight for a business meeting. I was very impressed with the size and quality of my room, which for the price was very good value. The en suite bathroom was well equipped and clean, and the bedroom looked out through two very large windows.

I love the location of this B&B with its great friendly staff and good parking. Easy walking distance to local bars and restaurants, catering to everyone's requirements. This time I was in a double, massive space but starting to need some attention. The room was full of cobwebs and was leaning towards shabby rather than chic. Breakfast was good, with...

My small but cosy single room was on the top floor, up two flights of stairs with no lift. There was a slight issue with the room but this was resolved with no fuss while I went out for dinner. Walking distance to the restaurants of the Triangle. Free on site parking which is a bonus, and they were happy...

A good place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Good welcome, friendly staff. Breakfast good but gluten free bread not toasted very well. It would have been nice to have had a gluten free sausage. Would definitely recommend it.

I visited the Clifton House for one night as I was visiting the university. Not only is it conveniently located for the university, but the stay itself was wonderful. I was greeted by the owner who was very friendly and was very accommodating for me needing to stay a little longer the following day. I had a restful sleep and...
