Good stay at this hotel, rooms clean and well presented, although decor a little dated. Staff very helpful and good choice for breakfast. Own car park is a real bonus, stairs a little steep for elderly or infirm,

Good solid clean basic hotel near station and 15 mins walk to centre. Rooms a little old fashioned but that is fine. Good bathroom. Bit noisy as Hills road busy! Breakfast hot and fine( except for tasteless vegetarian sausage, but what did I expect?). Used by academics and people in education a lot I feel. Will return. Very friendly staff...

The Centennial gives a pleasant welcome each time I visit. The staff are warm are friendly, the rooms cosy and the traditional food tasty and plentiful. Being a short walk from the station and the town centre means saving on taxis. Check-in and check-out are always quick and efficient.

The room was in a complete time warp and very noisy . In fairness they offered to change it but the alternative was like a dungeon . In its favour the bathroom was spotless and the staff were very helpful The worst point was breakfast, which was included but nobody told us and there was no information in the room...

Dear Sir I'm very sorry that you feel the need to make a complaint. The free Wi-Fi details together with the breakfast times were clearly printed on your 'Keycard' that was handed to you when you checked in together with your room key. The Receptionist who checked-you in also brought the breakfast and restaurant serving times to your attention. Finally,...

This is my second stay here on business. I find the hotel very convenient, being so close to the station, and very comfortable and accommodating. At first I was given a very nice room with a double bed and beautifully fitted bathroom. However, the noise from the road prevented me from sleeping so I asked if there was a room...

I was placed here in accommodation provided by work. As a lone female, the owner recognised me from a previous visit, upgraded my room because I was staying longer , then provided brighter lighting when I explained about my eyesight. All with good grace. The rooms are homely, with crisp cotton bedsheets and well- furnished bathrooms; all services are provided...

Stayed one (Saturday) night as visiting the Book Festival. Warm welcome, hotel spotlessly clean throughout, furniture a little dark and dated but my budget attic room was fine for my needs with important things like plug sockets in sensible places. Bath but no proper shower. Excellent breakfast and plenty off staff. Bit of a walk (20 mins) to town centre...

Needed a room for a Saturday night in Cambridge. The Centennial is nothing spectacular, but it is comfortable and close to the train station. The staff is friendly and the rates are good. While it is a bit of a walk to the city center you are across the street from a great pub, The Flying Pig!

This hotel is in a perfect position for the centre of the town with good car parking facilities, as long as you are prepared to walk. The beautiful Botanical Gardens are, however, within a five minutes walk and well worth a visit. The room was spotless and the bed comfortable. The whole hotel had a tired and dated feel but...
