Arrived quite late on Monday night. Friendly staff. Room very nice & comfortable. (View not up to much but that wasn't a problem). Lovely cooked breakfast (& with lots of other options if cooked breakfast isn't your thing). The hotel itself looks a little shabby - carpets in hallways etc but apart from that, all good.

We spent 3 nights in a junior luxury suite, having been upgraded (a surprise to us) from the executive double we'd booked. The hotel is just round the corner to the Fitzwilliam Museum and a 10 minute walk to the city centre. Our room was comfy, clean and spacious. I must admit we were surprised on signing in to the...

I was surprised that the room was really small. The bed was comfy and bathrom was clean but it was so hard to flush the toilet. The walls of the room are also thin and I can hear people next door talking during the night which did disturbed my sleep.

From what I could establish this was one of the few Cambridge City Centre Hotels (10/15 minutes walk to the centre) obtainable at a reasonable price! Double room was on the small side but it was more than adequate and had recently been re-furbished. WI-FI was good and usual tea/coffee, tv, Hair dryer all there. No evening meals served but...

Half an hour after checking in I went to reception to tell the person who checked me in that the room smelled of cat wee. She responded by asking me 'had I used the room?', I told her she checked me in half an hour ago, which she obviously knew. She then told the manager, who asked me what was...

This hotel is well situated within walking distance of the centre of Cambridge and restaurants. Parking is extremely limited. The room itself was ok but the bathroom was small. Breakfast was very average - and I couldn't understand why, each morning at breakfast the scrambled egg was sitting in water - was it re-constituted? The breakfast staff were friendly and...

Looked fairly appealing from the outside, but things soon went downhill indoors! Shown to a very dated single room with furniture, bed & facilities straight out of the 80's. Window in room didn't shut & traffic noise all night made for poor sleep. When I did get some kip, I was awoken by the electric shower from the neighbouring room....

The problems with Cambridge is that it is bursting at the seams, students, parents and visitors and no parking worth talking about.. The lens field is a lovely quirky hotel that is mid way between a lovely old fashioned band b complete with slightly idiosyncratic curtains and bed covers but really friendly welcoming staff.its quiet and cosy and the only problem...

Lovely little hotel, easy walking distance for town and all local bars and restaurants. Big comfy beds in spacious rooms. Breakfast was fantastic, best hotel breakfast I've had. Only downside was the parking they advertise, they only have 4 spaces! Parking in nearby streets is £2 an 7 days a week. All in all, would recommend

Booked into what we thought was a hotel... We got given the keys to a house next door?!?!.... Apparently it was an executive suite???? ... It was a ground floor apartment ... Very spacious with its own kitchen and living room but not the hotel room we booked... In the morning we had to walk from the house to the...
