Stayed there i night. Reception gave a half hearted welcome. Squashed spider on the wall. Boogie dried onto the headboard. Bathroom door would not close correctly. Poor poor poor we would not go back to that "hotel" that i hope has seen better days

I stayed there two nights. Rooms are incredibly small, beds badly uncomfortable (you sleep almost on the ground with another bed on your face) the toilet is smaller than the ones of trains. Breakast really of a low quality (without tables). Finally it is nosy. Bad, really bad!

Stayed here for one night while visiting the university. We were in our rooms to sleep, shower and change clothes and that was about it. If we had been there longer I am sure the little things would have bothered us. Breakfast was good car parking a bonus. Easy walk into town. Two great pubs just up the road.

The location is ideal, but everything else is a little lacking. Room was tiny and bathroom claustrophobic, bed not very comfortable at all which, combined with the noise, led to very fitful night's sleep. Cleanliness left a bit to be desired. Thought it would be better than it was, and certainly expected more at the price. Really is a hostel...

Good points - handy for station, good breakfast selection. Negative points - No hot water to wash basin or to shower. No shaver socket. Wash basin trap was leaking. Room had three spotlights but only one was working. Bed was uncomfortable. Had disturbed night's sleep due to noisy pipework and general noise of other guests walking up and down corridor...

Room is OK and breakfast is good. Unfortunately I let my cash card behind. Phoned on Monday evening and confirmed it was there. Was assured by member of staff that it would be sent my manager the next day. Thought they might call me to arrange payment for recorded delivery etc but didn't hear anything. Wednesday- no card. Phoned again...

Good points...Location great, next to the station, easy to find. Wifi is free, but works better closer to the reception. There is limited free parking, roughly 4 spaces, I had no trouble getting a free spot. Staff helpful.Breakfast breads/jams/cereals/sandwiches in a breakfast room. Bad points...very small rooms, tiny bathroom, all a bit grubby and cold. I know the price is...

Stayed for a night for an interview, was arriving late night by train. Ideal location wise - just opposite to station. 24 hour reception. Very compact rooms with bunkbeds even for single room. Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room. Basic breakfast included in the price. Was noisy. Overall it was ok for my overnight stay but maynot be ideal for...

I stayed here for one night and chose Stationroomz for the convenience factor (with it being right next to the station). Next time I'll pay a little more though and get a proper hotel room! This was an absolute dive - just over £50 for a tiny room with no security and a cracked window that didn't shut properly -...
