Spent only one night at the hotel but was a great experience. Beautiful hotel and ideally situated in the heart of Cambridge, close to the shops and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Cambridge. Will definitely go back.

Stayed here for a Saturday night last week... For some reason we were upgraded on check in which was a welcome surprise :) We stayed in the basement suite, very cosy and luxurious .... amazing bath room with underfloor heating. Friendly staff. Would recommend paying the £25 for there parking service.... trying to find parking was a nightmare. Also worth...

I stayed here in January and was pleased with the stay throughout. On arrival I was upgraded to the cinema suite which was a lovely surprise! Bed really comfortable, the room was very warm and cosy and the roll top bath was stunning! Dinner was the only downfall, whilst the food was good I felt the main course (pork belly)...

My husband and I were ramblimg about without any reservations as ususal and just happened in on this lovely hotel. We were greated by the loveliest receiptionists, Lauren and Ilenia, who provided us with one nights lodging and recommended eateries for that evening. Since I have a handicpa plackard we were able to park right on the street. Our room...

We stayed at Hotel du Vin for our wedding night, and I'm so glad we did. Location, service and quality of accommodation all surpassed expectations and we had a wonderful stay. The hotel itself is a little way out of the city centre - about 10 minutes walk - and although Trumpington Street can be a little busy during the...

We decided to spend our wedding night in the Hotel du Vin as a treat for the special occasion and we were amazed by the place - a wonderful hotel in the historical heart of town, very elegant - but most of all by the service and the attention to the details, the high quality of the treatment we received...

My husband booked HDV Cambridge for afternoon tea 3 months a go for my milestone birthday & also double checked that it would be ok for us to have my newborn in a pram with us. Upon arriving we were shown to the Library and told to sit at a table by a door with no room for a pushchair....

Husband and I stayed here for a special occasion. The staff did everything they could to make it memorable. The room allocated didn't quite match our preference, when we mentioned this they swapped our room immediately and definitely gave us a superior room- absolute luxury. Ate in the Bistro which was wonderful, especially the cheese trolley. Staff were pleasant and...

We stayed here based on the reviews and location.Certainly the location was terrific. However suggest you stay not stay in the Scholss which faces the street. It is a quiet Hotel but that being said we could hear folks talking or walking at night. Ask for a room that does not face the street. Also the lighting was a bit...

We've stayed in several Hotel du Vin's across the country in the past and always enjoyed our stays. We are disappointed to find that this hotel has a Bistro rather than a restaurant with a french menu as we've experienced elsewhere. The Bistro menu was limited so we ate out although on the evening of our arrival we had a...
