We had a lovely 3 day stay with Dawn at Springfields. Room was very clean and lots of little homely touches - fresh milk for tea and coffee being one as well as bottled sparkling water. Breakfast was excellent - cooked fresh to order and preceded by fruit, cereal and yoghurt if wanted and rounded off with toast - sets... More

I received a very warm welcome, the B & B was spotlessly clean and room comfortable. Good breakfast. Ideal location just of motorway, but the room was very quiet and overlooked garden. Would definitely recommend

I can understand why people have had mixed views. Firstly the landlady is one of the nicest people we have ever met. Very helpful in every way. The whole place is covered with family pictures and ornaments (dating back quite a few years) but this give it an old fashion touch. Rooms where spotless and full of amenities such as... More

Everything was perfect at Springfield! The landlady takes really care of us during our stay without being "invasive"! The room was very cozy, the breakfast was excellent and the dinner room was a wonderful place to have a breakfast! Ely is very close (just two minutes by car and the parking is free)! You can also reach Ely and Little... More

Spent one night at this spotless bed and breakfast while visiting friends in Little Downham. Every creature comfort has been thought of for the convenience of the guest including tea, coffee, biscuits, toiletries, magazines, bottled water and even a dish of sweets. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets fresh and crisp. We both slept really well. Pleasant view of... More

My girlfriend and I were attending Newmarket races and we found this place online. We had a very friendly welcome from the owner, and she immediately offered to call a taxi for us as she knew we were on our way out (and running very late!). The room was full of lovely little nik-naks, it was nice and clean and... More

The last East Anglian B&B we stayed in provided us with Missoni bathrobes, a Bose Wave radio to enjoy, a huge bath to relax away the day, high-end candles, aroma-therapy oils, state-of-the-art coffee machine, Egyptian cotton sheets, a king size bed, private sun terrace, etc. You get the idea... So we were hoping for similar home-from-home comforts here at Baileys... More

What a brilliant place to stay, the hostess (Dawn) was a lovely person, so friendly and nothing was too much trouble, Dawn made you feel so welcome. - it is located on the main A10 road which is a busy road but it is so peaceful and quiet you hear no traffic noise at all. The rooms were beautiful and... More

We booked this with a little trepidation as B & Bs are not our normal style, particularly one with a pink theme. We were very pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our stay. 10/10 for hosting, 10/10 for cleanliness, 10/10 for breakfast, 9/10 for sleep but only because we are used to a king bed! Go with the theme in mind and... More

“All the rooms are at the back of the single storey building and are quiet. My room was not ensuite but the bathroom was a few feet down the corridor and I was given my own key to it. I think the other two rooms are ensuite. Everything was spotlessly clean.”
