I stayed there for one night with my partner and my sister and her husband and found Emily and her staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very comfortable and breakfast excellent. Very good value for money and thoroughly recommended as long as you don't expect 5 star accommodation.

Came with friends over the weekend for one night. Reasonable prices, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Room was warm and comfortable. Lovely view from the bedroom window. Our bed was queen size but our friend's had a much smaller double from what they say. Our shower could have done with being regrouted and having somewhere to put the...

My wife and I enjoyed a very pleasant stay on Wednesday 24/8/16, following a sightseeing day in Ely. We stayed in room 2, which overlooked the river. The room was very tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed and full facilities including a hot drinks machine. We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts and dined on their Mediterranean...

We really enjoyed our stay here and absolutely recommend it to people visiting Ely that don't mind staying a few miles outside of town. We stayed in the King room and it was very comfortable. The food was good and the owners were very friendly.

Our stay was a lovely surprise, the pub/hotel is set on a river with a lovely outside area to enjoy the food and views! Our room was nice and comfortable, it had a coffee machine which we felt was a nice touch. The bathroom was lovely and clean just what we were looking for. Evening menu was a Mediterranean/Greek cuisine...

I can probably count on one hand the number of times in my adult life that I have not started the day with a shower. There was that time when we were supporting the Karrimor Mountain Marathon in the Lake District: after an overnight stay in a tent by the tarn I needed a shower but there are not many...

Spent a great afternoon catching with our large family the day was made even more enjoyable by the delicious freshly prepared food and the delightful land lady Emily and her hardworking staff. A hidden gem in the lovely Cambridgshire country side.

This pub is in a lovely location with tables overlooking the river. An ideal spot on a sunny day. The service was excellent in so far as it was informal, friendly and attentative. The sandwich and salad were tasty and well presented. The ham and eggs was good with nicely cooked hot chips. All up a nice experience.

This delightful 'riverside' pub is not easy to find. You have to drive through the small Cambridgeshire village of Mepal and drive up a road with a Dead End sign. Just before the bridge, after which the road really does end, on your left is The Three Pickerels. For lovers of interesting facts, a pickerel is a baby pike. The...

Lovely location right next to the river. Room was lovely and had everything I required. Tea and coffee making gear all provided along with toiletries. Hairdryer provided. Small ensuite with good shower. Very friendly host, Emily who cooked a lovely breakfast. I just opted for sausage and bacon sandwich, but the full English looked excellent. Handy for Ely (10-15 minute...
