We have stayed at Chester a few times but this is the first time we have stayed at this hotel. We will return to it; in fact, we tried to book again, before we left, but the hotel was fully booked when we wanted it, which was for the period of the Christmas markets. The hotel is over a pub...

First class location, friendly, welcoming restaurant staff and superbly comfortable beds; The Coach House should be almost unbeatable. Were we just unlucky I wonder? On our recent stay, our bedroom was stiflingly hot, even with the fan provided. Decor appeared 'tired' and there was an unpleasant small of damp /drains throughout the resident areas. Had so looked forward to our...

Visited here with a friend for evening meal. Service was excellent and the toad in the hole (special of the day) was great. Would love to know how they get their yorkshires so light and big. Good selection of beers and lagers. Recommend highly☺

My son and I had a lovely meal at this pub/hotel, the staff were helpful, efficient and polite. The whole experience was really pleasant, I would strongly recommend others try it out because it's worth a visit.

Good selection of drinks. Lagers and ales.staff friendly. Though I only had a drink the food looked nice as it came out. Hot drinks such as herbal tea is available. Has some comfy settees as well as usual tables

Hello, thank you for taking the time to leave this fabulous review. It isn't very often that we get reviews on customers just coming in for drinks so it is a nice surprise when we do! Maybe on your next visit you can try the delicious food we have to offer.

Booked using Booking.com for a luxury room at £120 per night. Process went well as far as the booking was concerned, though the warning that the deposit "may" be taken before we arrived was well-founded as they took it within 24 hours. First warning was after sending three e-mails to two different addresses, yet not receiving any acknowledgement or reply....

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our evening meal was very good, not fine dining but good pub grub. Breakfasts were excellent except for the toast as the bread was of rather poor quality. Our room and bathroom were large and very pleasant. Hotel is very central and we enjoyed our stay.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We want our menu to reflect good honest pub food with the usual classics as well as some more experimental dishes so we are glad you enjoyed it. I apologise for the toast you received at breakfast, I will pass the feedback on to the chefs to ensure that...

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this B&B and the lovely town of Chester. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very large by European standards, comfortable beds, nice updated bathroom, and the wifi worked well. It is located right in the middle of the town so everything is within walking distance. We had...

Hello, thank you for writing such a lovely, detailed review. We are very pleased to hear that the room was up to standard for yourselves, and that you also enjoyed the food we offer in the restaurant downstairs. Yes, the bar does close at 11pm mid week so sometimes there is a little noise from downstairs up until that time....

Had a lovely meal here, and a few drinks. Has a nice feel to it, rather than the loud and tacky pubs with TVs in them. Excellent staff, couldn`t fault the place. Wasn`t able to stay as rooms booked out probably because they`re such good value.
