Stayed here a couple of nights recently and really enjoyed the place. Comfortable room with everything you could want including a fridge and there were a couple of bottles of water in it on arrival. Staff very friendly and attentive. Breakfast very good too. Very well situated for all of Chester's charms.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review. The fridges are quite new to us as we thought guests would really appreciate a cold bottle of water each and also, access to their own fridge, so it's great to hear that our guests are happy with the extra facility. We hope to see you again...

Stayed here with my 13 year old daughter for one night. Excellent location for shopping and anything else to do in Chester. Very friendly welcome from all the staff, the complimentary hot chocolate went down well with my daughter...tea and coffee also complimentary. Our room was massive, overlooking northgate street to the front, beds were comfy, hairdryer, iron and ironing...

Hello, let me start by apologising for your experience at the Coach House Inn. On this occasion in particular we did have a busy lunch time and with all our produce being fresh, and cooked to order it does take a little while longer. In hindsight, the coke should have been complementary due to your wait on food, however, I...

Booked into Room 5 on the second floor overlooking the main street and the side street. Booked direct, the room was clean, well equipped and spacious. Meals and drinks were resonably priced, good quality and ample proportions. All staff were excellent and went to some trouble to make our stay very enjoyable. Many thanks.

We just went for drinks but the service was good and we had no issues. The staff had to deal with a difficult customer when were were there which they did professionally and without causing a scene. We'd go back again.

Feedback from Management would be much appreciated: their delicious sounding breakfast offerings, much publicised, of late, don't start until 10:00... Yet, they're open, but for a handful of room residents... This is nothing more than a pub B+B with rooms, masquerading as something more professional. A more professionally run operation would concur, that as they're open anyway, they could put...

The staff here were fantastic. Welcoming, friendly and nothing too much trouble. 5 star treatment. My room (no.6) was very clean, large and comfortable. It overlooked the Cathedral entrance and main thoroughfare. It was however noisy at night and a little stuffy. But for a couple of nights, this didn't bother me. There is no parking at the hotel but...

We eat here regularly and the food is absolutely spot on, every time. Good honest pub grub, delicious steak sandwiches/burgers alongside a variety of mains and small dishes. Kids menu varied and can be modified to suit the fussy eater. not forgetting the service which is also first class.
