Stayed here for one night and thank god it was no longer. When booking this stay we didn't have a huge amount of choice & didn't want to spend a fortune. That said what we did pay was massively over priced for what we got. Turned up and the car park was minuscule and luckily as we were staying we...

We didn't stay at the George and Dragon just dropping in for food. So I can't comment on the hotel rooms. We would normally have walked to the pub but it was raining very heavily and showed no signs of letting up! The cost of parking is refundable at the bar when you purchase food or drink. But for Chester...

Came here for a break with my friend..sadly the negatives outweigh the positives at this establishment. Shown to room only to find pizza..half empty bottles and towels all over floor. why give us the key if room not ready?? badly lit room with curtains hanging off the rail..pointed this out but never rectified. The Manager was advised of our concerns...

Awful place to stay, given a single room when we had booked and paid for double room, moth eaten curtains in our room, the worst breakfast I have ever been given, when we went to complain the staff were so rude and didn't even offer an alternative. I have never written a review before but felt so strongly about how...

If you like cheap food this is the place to go as the meals were two for £8.99. However, there are five TV's blasting out, the first table we chose was very wobbly so we had to move. The food seemed to take ages and when it came the scampi was burnt, the peas were missing but the excessive amount...

Have just come back after staying 3 nights at the George & Dragon, what a lovely place, the place was very clean and tidy, the food was good and very reasonable, but the 2 ladies Lesley and Jill are a credit to the hotel, nothing was to much trouble for Lesley she goes out of her way to make sure...

Stayed here as attending music festival in Chester. On checking in the lady who dealt with us was lovely but she forgot to refund our £6 parking fee. Room was comfortable, clean and great value for money (33.33p for breakfast as well ) Short walk into Chester will definitely return if the price is right . Did not see any ghosts...

My company booked this accommodation on my behalf last week. Having travelled and stayed in a variety of accommodation I found this to be one of the more disappointing experiences and feel compelled to review. On arrival I was treated in a very matter of fact manner and was not made to feel welcome. Under pressure with work I quickly...
