We were very impressed when we stayed here in December. lovely but small room, comfortable bed and quality fittings. What a change this time in room 27. Tucked away in the roof, it's a dark dingy place with tired old decor and damp patch stains on the ceiling. No hairdryer so we had to ask for one. No sound on...

Fantastic location, just 10 minutes walk from the hotel to the city centre. If that is too much for you there is a bus that's stops right outside and takes you into the centre. The hotel is away from the hustle and bustle and is just right for a quiet restful stay. If you travel into Chester by train, there...

Breakfast had a good choice, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs were very tasty and the full breakfast had excellent ingredients. Coffee was topped up frequently and...

This hotel proved to be an excellent choice for a couple of nights in Chester. It's close enough to the centre, about a 15 minute walk, yet a calm and peaceful haven after a day sightseeing. The staff couldn't be faulted, smiley helpful people, and the food was well cooked and tasty. I would have no hesitation in recommending this...
