My wife and I and our 2 friends enjoyed a very (mostly) pleasant stay in The Queen at the end of March. The Hotel has lots of character and the rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Our 2 night deal included breakfast and dinner and we found the food and the service to be very good overall. It was a...

Enjoyable 2 night stay.We were moved to a much larger room after being unhappy with our original one which was smaller and far from the lift. Breakfast was excellent with a large choice of dishes.Had a meal at The Waiting Room which was delicious and good value. The only negative is that you need to catch a bus to the...

Not having expected to stay here, we were more than happy with the experience. We'd booked a stay at another Hallmark Hotel but they had overbooked and on arrival we were told there was no room at the Inn. They had transferred our booking to the Queen’s Hotel in Chester. More than a little apprehensively we drove to Chester. We...

Stayed here on a 1 night groupon offer in a queen executive room. The room was lovely. Bed exceedingly comfortable. The bathroom was quite big and the only downside was that it was really cold in there. Due to the old building and heritage there was no double glazing and there was no secondary glazing in there and only a...

We were travelling by train to meet family so the fact that this hotel is across a quiet street from the station was so convenient and meant no need for taxis. The refurbishment of the hotel is so well done, all the accommodation is in a separate building with beautiful courtyards and enclosed walkways connecting it to the original hotel....

Rooms are very comfortable and have all the basic amenities you would expect. Decor is interesting and unique throughout the hotel. It's a genuinely nice place to be and doesn't feel sterile or too elaborate as is what can happen with some other hotels. Pricing is very decent. Would definitely recommend the breakfast options in the morning.

We had a brilliant overhight stay last Saturday. The welcome to the hotel stood out. The reception staff were very friendly and helpul. The concierge was amazing throughout the stay. The room was on the 3rd floor and continued the atmopsheric feel of the place. There was free wifi (decent speed too) in the rooms. The bathroom was spotless. The...

Staff in particular were welcoming and friendly. We stayed in one of the refurbished rooms which were great. The main thing about our stay was that it was great value. We stayed for 2 nights in April and paid £235 for three adults in a family room. This included dinner on the first night, which was very good and breakfast...

This is my second stay at this hotel and my second great review. The staff are always professional but welcoming, love the rooms and the breakfast with Buck's Fizz is delicious. Always a great experience.

We visited here for a meal. We wasn't staying at the hotel but was warmly welcomed all the same. The food was very tasty and well cooked. Price wise a little more than you pay at your average restaurant but value for the quality you get. The waiters were very friendly, efficient and chatty. This is the type of place...
