Mitchell's remain the best b&b/ small hotel we have ever had the pleasure to visit. The rooms are spacious, spotless & the eye to detail is impressive. Quality products are in situ throughout, be it in the large ensuite bathroom or on the ample beverage tray. There are numerous framed awards in the hallway by reception ...... all recent & well...

My wife and I are very happy to join the large number of people who rate Mitchell's of Chester very highly. We stayed in the 'Laurel' room which was spacious, spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed. Our hosts were attentive without being intrusive and we were offered excellent advice on getting the most from our visit to Chester which was a...

Stayed here for 2 nights and had the Rosa room. It was decorated beautifully and had an amazing en_suite. The owners Colin and Helen are lovely and very helpful and the parrots not bad either! The b and b itself is gorgeous and has a guest lounge with an honesty bar. Everything you could want in your rooms, plenty of...

We try to provide everything you need so that you can relax and properly enjoy Chester. It is a very pleasant semi-green walk into the City with plenty of things to see on the way, right into the centre. No boring suburbs or unattractive scenery.

Colin and Helen were on hand for anything did we have questions. And they were fabulously attentive at breakfast especially towards my partner who had a great thirst for their...

Thank you for your generous review but don't forget the reason for your visit. Chester. This fabulous medieval city with roots in Roman Britain and so many places to see and explore; as well as being a great centre branching out into North Wales, Cheshire, and Liverpool.

From the very start, with home-made cake & a cup of tea, we were made so welcome. An elegant home with beautiful furnishings, excellent service and a fantastic breakfast, this was our favourite stay in all the places we were travelling over a two-week period. A short walk to the city centre; this is a place we will be coming...

You are very welcome. The tea and biscuits are an ideal way of unwinding after your journey, and gives us an opportunity to introduce you to Chester - where to go and where to eat.

Colin and Helen have done a splendid job in restoring the house to the condition and style of its early life. The house is conveniently located in the quiet area of Curzon Park about 20 mins. walk from the city centre - there is also a bus past the door. A warm welcome awaits guests - tea and biscuits in...
