Usual excellent value for money for a 2-night weekend stay, including the meal deal. All-you-can eat breakfast in the adjoining Twirl of Hay sets you up for the day, the buffet never approached running out of any items, always replenished before any of the dishes were empty. Evening meal usual Brewers Fayre offering but well cooked and presented. Only criticisms...

changed since last time I used this Inn. No telephone in room for inter-room communication or to call Reception, requiring walking to site. A cost saving implementation sees toiletries no longer supplied, presumably on request at Reception. Ladies didn't realise there was no shower cap until too late.

The hotel was in a great location, just along the road from the zoo. We had a great sleep and the room was big enough for 2 adults and 2 children. Our only problem was the evening meal we had in the restaurant. 2 and a half hours for 3 courses with a bored 2 year old is not a...

We have just returned from a weekend break in Chester and stayed at the Premier inn . An enjoyable time was had relaxing, shopping and visiting 'Flipout' with other family members. The breakfast was delicious and the choice varied with additional foods available and cooked as requested for example, poached eggs and vegetarian sausages. The lemon curd yogurt is a...

overall a very good stopover. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Rooms were clean and tidy and comfortable. I paid for the evening meal/breakfast deal which was very good value. The location was great for my business dealings.

Great location close to the city center and the zoo, and the room was large and clean. Great price for the room, and the service was prompt and courteous, but we needed non other than checking in and out. The let down was the meal at the attached Brewsters, because despite the good service and price, the meal was poor....

We've stayed in a few places visiting family in Chester and this is by far my favourite. It didn't bother me that the connecting restaurant isn't the best, it's located across the road from a large sainsburys and the centre of Chester is about a 10-15 minute drive away. Would stay here again.

One of the best Premier Inns in the county. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I always get a friendly welcome back when I return to stay. Quiet, clean rooms. The "Twirl of Hay" next door is reasonable. If you get your breakfast cooked its good, but some times the buffet breakfast can get cold very quickly!

This hotel is in a perfect location if you want to visit Chester, but have a quieter 'base' to come back to. It is out of the centre so it's nice and quiet (there is a busy road nearby but we barely heard it), but close enough to the centre for very easy access. There is a pub/restaurant next door...
