A nice place but service could have been better, when we arrived Paula looked like she wasn't expecting us and then when she showed us our room she informed us we had to move rooms in the morning, not happy with that. The second room was lovely thou. Close to the city centre 10-15 mins walk.

My 4 friends and I stayed at the weekend for a night out. We shared a group room. The room was large with a en-suite and 4 beds. 1 was a double. The place was clean and friendly and the breakfast was lovely! There was free parking and it was close to some nice pubs and bars.

Such a friendly hotel the owners made us feel welcome the hotel was clean bedroom beautifully decorated, full English breakfast very good, hotel was a short walk into the centre of Chester, car park a bit chaotic but we didn't have a problem.

Came to Chester for Bank holiday weekend. This is a very reasonably priced B&B. Great breakfast. Great locality (just a short walk into Chester) and VERY friendly and helpful owners. Have lots of helpful tips on local sights to see. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We returned to this delightful guest house once again - this time with our son and his fiancee and my sister-in-law. We were accommodated all together on the ground floor which was especially convenient for us as both my husband and sister-in-law have mobility problems. The welcome is always warm and the breakfasts relaxed and delicious, catering for all tastes....

On arrival the parking was disorganised and had to squeeze the car into a space,so from that I was unsure about staying. Then the owners didn't know what room we was in and when we got there it was small, stain's on bedding( which looked suspect ) stain's on carpet the mattress was old and very uncomfortable and the TV was...

Booked two rooms for two nights same day through the Chester Information Centre and were very pleased with the King Guest House/B&B. It was in a quiet area and within 10 to 15 minutes walk from the medieval walled town and 5 minutes walk to three pubs. Recommend the Handbridge Hotel for dinner - it's the closest. We were welcomed...

We stayed for 4 nights in June. The location is good, probably a 10 minute walk into the centre of town, in a quiet neighborhood. There are however a few pubs within a block or two, allowing you to get a drink or something to eat. Our room was a little tight, but had a great cross breeze with windows...
