We stayed following a concert at Events Square on the Quay, within walking distance. Comfortable, clean room and a wonderful choice of breakfast prepared to order. Excellant value for money. We will definately return.

We came to visit the uni in Penryn arriving late on Friday night. We were met with a very friendly and helpful welcome and promptly provided with the drinks we were in need of! The rooms were small but clean and provided everything that was needed. The breakfast had plenty of choice and provided with good efficient cheerful service. The...

The layout is more like a hotel than guest house. Nice reception area, with friendly, helpful proprietor. Bedroom was clean and comfortable with shower room en suite. Lovely guest lounge and breakfast room: very tasteful decor. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice.

A good choice in that it's not close to the noisy centre of town. Near the excellent Gylly Beach Restaurant and thus close to the sea. Warm welcome. My single room was classed as 'basic' which means that it's not en suite (didn't have a wardrobe either - but there is drawer space). The loo and shower is across the...

I stayed here with my family for a few days because I had a university interview and we were all quite pleased with the hotel; we had cozy, clean rooms and the breakfast was really good! The one thing we didn't enjoy was the fact that the central heating gets turned off from 11am-5pm, and during winter it's a nightmare....

Our 52nd stop on our journey around the world was at the Gyllyngvase Hotel in Falmouth. I understand that business is slow during winter times but one has to make a decision to be open or closed. You can't do both. If you are open guests should have a warm place to stay. The central heating in the hotel was...

I stayed here overnight while on business in their cheapest single room. Although small it was clean, had a nice view and a table at which I could work. I had no problems with wi-fi and the single bed was comfortable. The shared facilities were close-by on the landing and a bath as well as a shower was available. Breakfast...

Had short break, disappointed that check in time was late in the day, did contact the booking agent and asked for earlier check in but never got a reply. Room was clean, bed a bit hard but overall room ok, bathroom a bit snug and the door didn't close properly. They offered free Wifi and gave a code but unfortunately...

The room was a bit old, but was fine, a bit tight, towels were thin, staff was very nice & helpful and breakfasts was good. It was about a 10-15 minute walk into town. Shower was fine -- and much needed after a long bike ride!
