Located close to beach, town and river this hotel lived up to its claim to luxury and more. From the warmth of the welcome to the quality of the accommodation, from the superb food to the cleanliness of the rooms, from the attention to detail to the comfort of the bed it was difficult to find any sort of shortcoming....

I found this guesthouse to be clean and comfortable, the owner was very pleasant and the breakfast was excellent. However this was advertised as 'luxury b&b' and, although okay, was not my idea of luxury. My room was a small, very basic, double en-suite, only suitable for one person in my opinion.

Just finished singing at the Falmouth International Shanty Festival. We had a twin room which was superb. The room was light and airy, and a couple of really comfortable chairs in the room. The Bathroom was large and spotless. The amenities, staff and food was all wonderful. Lovely choice of breakfast and was cooked brilliantly. (I so love a poached...

We have just returned from our first visit to the wonderful Dolvean House. From the minute we walked in the door we received a 5* personal and homely service from Shaun and Renate. Our party was booked in 2 rooms, both of which were extremely comfortable and furnished to a very high standard. The breakfasts were again of 5* standard...

We spent our Easter family break at the Dolvean House! After Renate's warm welcome we felt cosy & at home straight away. The bedrooms are equipped to a 4-star hotel standard with comfortable beds and a luxurious bathroom - attention has been given to every detail. The breakfast was excellent with Cornish breakfast and many other healthy and tasty options...

Well received and accommodated..Situated on the main road into Falmouth but within easy walk of the harbour area. The front room over the main road was slightly noisy with the window open for a warm October night and the midnight biker roaring around annoying the entire town. Breakfast was comprehensive and included the Germen landlady's homemade muesli which is much...

We stayed here for 2 nights while walking the coastal path (using excellent local bus service - we booked after reading very positive TA reviews. Nice greeting with tea and biscuits on arrival. Pleasant room with comfortable bed. Good wifi (unlike most places we stayed at on the south Cornish coast). Small bath (room 12), but good size towels and...

We chose to stay here as previous hotels were booked and what a good choice! We enjoyed the welcoming refreshments on arrival and very friendly and knowledge staff. The room was well appointed and cosy. The location provides good access to the town and is easy walking distance. We will definitely stay again
