We have recently returned from yet another superb stay at Trelaske, this time for seven nights. Hazel and Ross make you feel welcome and special from the moment that you arrive. Our room in the main house was comfortable, well appointed and had an impressive view of the Cornish countryside as far as Bodmin Moor. There are excellent local walks...

Our second visit this year again not disappointed.Hazel & Ross extremely welcoming and helpful about local events & places of interest. We were there the week of Looe music festival and although noisy & very busy in town this did not distract from our stay. Hotel is away in a very secluded location and there was no disturbance from the music...

Delicious food is served in the restaurant all expertly prepared by Ross. All ingredients are locally sourced or home grown in polytunnels on site, All impeccably served with excellent wines. Our first visit and it didn't disappoint! Trelaske is a lovely hotel set in the quiet Cornish countryside just a few miles from Looe. It has seven rooms, some with spectacular views over Bodmin Moor. We had one of the four 'garden' rooms in a separate annexe, which was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The hotel is relaxing with a comfortable...

What a beautiful hotel - a hidden gem! With views over Bodmin Moor Trelaske is set in beautiful, peaceful surroundings in the quiet Cornish countryside, but still close to all the local tourist attractions, and both the south and north Cornish coasts. Chosen for the wealth of its excellent reviews, we certainly weren’t disappointed! Run to an extremely high standard...

We enjoyed our 4 days respite while having a lovely opportunity to explore Cornwall. The assistance in choices of places to go and the excellent food were highlights. Hazel was so helpful. And, we highly recommend the wonderful subtle blending of tastes and freshness of the food at dinner!

Having moved to Norfolk it was quite a trek to Cornwall - but it was well worth it. Hazel is the perfect host and the cooking by Ross is imaginative and superb. We enjoy the peaceful location and the views and can truly recommend Trelaske Hotel and Restaurant as the ideal spot to relax.
