We had a voucher deal and the offer was afternoon tea for 4 with gin (or Prosecco) for £29 this represented excellent value at around £7.50 pp. the venue was quiet but clean and modern with an inland view. The staff were attentive and helpful. The afternoon tea includes, tea, a choice of sandwiches, scones with jam and clotted cream...

Second to none, a choice of sandwiches made freshly for you. Scone with clotted cream and jam a selection of beautiful mini pastries and a pot of lemon posset. We sat for a couple of hours with plenty of tea and a glass of gin and tonic. The staff were really warm and made us feel right at home. We...

Bought 2 night stay, paid extra for sea view, room had a sea view but I had to wash the small window to see it and look past hotel roof and houses, room was small and not terribly comfortable and though it seemed they had been refurbished it was to the standard of a cheap hotel. Creaky floors and noisy...

We have stayed at the hotel many times but took our parents down today for Easter Sunday Lunch. The lunch was excellent and the service spot on, it was well worth the drive down and our parents have asked when are we going back!! Thanks to all

Friendly service, old furniture and old looking hotel. Very basic room and clean ensuite bathroom. It's super basic but does the job for the price you pay. You can hear every footstep in the corridor. Pillows and bed are awful. Good location to fistral beach.

Despite it's great position and very nice staff, this hotel is tired and in need of some renovation and better quality provision. Everything on offer was of the lowest possible quality including the breakfast. We had the full English the first morning and none of us would eat it on the second. The toast machine didn't work and the tea...

The staff are friendly and helpful. the rooms are fresh and clean. On our previous visit I paid extra for a sea view and was disappointed as we...

Booked a two night stay with Travelzoo and it was excellent value. Had a problem with strong fragrance in the room and could have been a spillage by the previous guest. When we informed reception they moved us to another room without any hesitation. Could not fault the attitude of any of the staff who were most helpful and efficient....

As with most things you get what you pay for. This hotel has excellent helpful friendly staff but some of the rooms are a bit tired. Avoid room at the front of the hotel especially on the lower floors as the are quite noisy. The rooms at the back if the hotel overlook Fistral beach and are better. Breakfast is...
