We stayed here this week upon on a recommendation and we loved it. We have stayed in all types of hotels over the years from 5 star to family run and felt this was one of the best family ran hotels we have visited. We stayed in one of the rooms at the top of the old building and found...

Recently stopped here for a weekend and have to say i really enjoyed it. We had one of the appartments which was very clean and comfortable and had everything you could need. We found it the perfect spot as its the quieter end of Newquay but yet easy walking distance to the town and had a lovely private beach at...

we stayed for 2 night over August bank Holiday as we booked late it was the only place available. We had a room at the very top of the old building. The room was more like a small apartment with a kitchen and dining table, the furniture was really old and dated too. It had good sea views which was...

I booked a room at Porth Lodge Hotel for 3 nights as I was visiting the area for a wedding with the intention to enjoy an extra day in the area. I only ended up staying two nights at the hotel. Arrival: The car park is not onsite, it's across the road which wasn't a huge problem. There is no...

We stopped here for three nights to see another part of Cornwall after our main holiday. The old part of the hotel is very charming but I could not describe the more modern extension as such. Our room was in the extension over the bowling alley. The noise from the bar or bowling alley was not excessive and apart from...

I stayed here last night for the second time as I was working in the area and it didn't disappoint for a second time. Lovely Wee place with a nice friendly bar and staff. I got apartment 2 to myself for a really good price. It's a few minutes walk from the most gorgeous beach ever and the mermaid down...

Recently spent 11 nights at Porth lodge which is a lovely old building with all the character and charm which you would expect of a 17 century property. The rooms were clean and fresh linen was provided on a regular basis, a regime of steady upgrade is also ongoing. This isn't a luxury pretentious 4/5star hotel it is what it...

Newquay will probably never be mentioned in the same sentence as the great destinations of the world, but within that context this is well more meaning and reasonably managed place. I'm not an electrician but certain aspects struck me as a bodge fest of extension leads and cables lazily cleated here and there, probably with no immediate danger to life...

Hi. Thank you for your feedback. If you can let me know which room you were in I will check why the lights were not plugged in. All our table lamps have sockets located nearby so I dont understand why they had been unplugged. Sorry about other noisy customers on the night you stayed. Just to note we serve breakfast...
