We chose this hotel, due to its location and ease of access to public transport, we actually didn’t end up going into Newquay, as we were busy elsewhere. We (3 couples) had an evening meal booked for Friday (actually in Newquay) and our anniversary meal, locally at Two Clomes. We had breakfast each of our 3 mornings, a combination of continental, cereals or cooked and an evening meal in the Hotel for the Sunday. Perfect location, comfort and ambience for our stay.
We go here twice a year and the atmosphere is amazing. We just love it. The staff are very accommodating and always get us our 4 rooms close together. The bar area is very friendly and the bar staff lovely
We stayed 2 nights in September while seeing family in perranporth.Room was clean and well maintained. Breackfast was freshly cooked, staff friendly and helpful . I left my I pad in the room when I. Left .My daughter sent past office label to them and they packaged it up safely and I received it back today .
I found the height of the bed to high as I’m only just over 5 foot so ended up sleeping on couch as it was a struggle to keep climbing up every time I needed to get up. I would like to commend Cathy the breakfast host in her excellent service and cheery welcome such a lovely lady .
Could a bus timetable and a small drug deal bag in the room upon arrival. No cleaning available or bed changes as all the “allocated room cleaning slots were full for each day”!!! Check in was very abrupt
Really nice hotel, nice room and good breakfast and dinner. Was definitely worth the money I spent and If your looking for a good night sleep would recommend 100% Would definitely stay again for sure.
Electricians booked in to work through the night in the kitchens below the room I was staying in - SDS drill and impact drivers between 23:30 and 01:30. Spoke to reception asking if this is happening again the next night, said no and told me they were fitting new lighting. After speaking to guest relations, apparently I should have made a complaint as the noise was happening so they could rectify. A tad unfair when I have two young kids in the room, and let me just point out that the noise in the hotel was not a noisy neighbour that could be told to be quiet - it was construction team booked in to work through the night to rectify issues in the kitchen.
Lovely two nights here. Quite a big group of us, everyone was happy. We had accommodation, ate in the pub/restaurant connected, and had breakfast. All lovely. Just a shame such a big hotel only had one tiny coffee machine making slow coffees/hot drinks/hot water; the queue was big and getting a drink a slow process, only two staff working out front meant cups and glasses ran out and juices too, also no tea spoons but it’s simply because the drink station was popular as expected and essential to everyone’s morning with their breakfast. Other premiers have coffee stations with several drink making points, this one surprisingly only had the one tiny option
Great location, plenty of parking space friendly staff, clean rooms and a great night sleep and you wake up to a Lovely all you can eat breakfast. Would highly recommend this premier inn. Five star hotel
The staff were friendly and the room clean, plenty of free parking which is good, however the hotel is out of range, no taxis were available during our stay, no signal in the area, buses don’t run frequently, and it would’ve been an hour walk to the city centre/beaches. For those reasons I wouldn’t return, definitely recommend booking somewhere closer to the beaches and parking in long stay car parks if you’re there for the beaches/town
