Recently held my daughters 18th Birthday Party here. We had the Bay View Bar which is perfect for a smaller number of people (say 60-80). There is a dance floor, bar and your own toilets. It has stunning views as well. The food was excellent - all the guests commented on how good the food was - the dj was...

I was lucky enough to have a family suite overlooking the sea on the second floor. The interior décor of the hotel was incredibly tired, the carpets in my room were old and covered in stains but the views were stunning and the bed was clean so I was quite content. To top off the atmosphere, the room was completely...

A beautiful hotel in the center of Newquay. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing and the view from the restraunt is breath taking. Whilst the hotel has all you could ask for it is unfortunately a little run down. A bit of TLC would fix that but its mainly cosmetic. Rooms are lovely and plenty big...

My husband and I decided to visit Newquay for our first wedding anniversary and booked this hotel mainly because of its location. Yes it is a grand hotel or rather was in its heyday. As our room was not ready upon our early arrival we were told that we could use the hotels facilities until it was. However looking on...

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights. Yes the hotel is old and dated and needs more maintenance and probably a full refurbishment but for the money its comfortable and clean. The rooms are basic and dated but clean and adequate for a few nights. It looked as if new WIFi was being installed during our stay so...

My stay was not good as expected. There was mould around the windows, the windows was dirty, the wall was dirty, the toilet smelt, 1 plug port and the paint work on the skirten board was chipped. Highly would not recommend this hotel.

I would say it its heyday it would fantastic, it is slightly run down in places but for the one night was good to stay. Breakfast was very good plenty of choice and great views over the beech. Had such a lovely night stay here, clean room with all the services you could need. Breakfast the next morning was perfect and in such a great location; would definitely recommend. All staff extremely friendly and willing to help- asked for a few extra pillows and 5 minutes later were brought them up to our room. Room itself was large...
