Hotel looks quite dates on outside. It's quite modern inside Bedrooms nice and cosy. Ones with a sea view are nice Bathrooms clean and fresh Coffee making facilities in room Only thing to really moan about is breakfast in the morning. It's not worth 8.50. It's very cheap products so be warned All in all a good stay

The hotel is lovely, well maintained throughout and comfortable. There is a good sized dance floor and indoor pool. The meals are very good and the staff are all very friendly and accommodating. All round good hotel and good new year.

Stayed for four nights on Xmas break. Plain, small single room, but comfortable and warm. Public areas beautifully decorated for Xmas. Staff were great, nothing too much trouble. Food was exceptional, especially Xmas evening buffet. Would have been nice to get a bread roll with evening starters though, rather than just half slice of bread. Not enough coffee or milk...

Parts of the hotel are a little tired, but on the plus side it's being updated and improved. I was lucky enough to be put into one of the newly refurbished rooms with a stunning sea view. A very comfortable stay. The food is mostly of a very high standard, even when they had 3 coach parties booked in at...

We booked this hotel for anniversary we normally go abroad but fancied something different. so as hotels go ..location very good .. friendly staff but that's about it ...when we booked we didn't realise that this was literally their last week of opening ... so this meant hardly any thing left in in the bar as everything had been pretty...

Myself and my husband had a 2 night stay. We booked directly with the hotel which was cheaper than through a 3rd party. We had a sea view room which was spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly. We made use of the jacuzzi and pool which were well kept albeit slightly cold but we soon warmed up after...

A large family group of us of all ages descended on this hotel for just one night. Having read the reviews I expected the worse.... actually not too bad. Asked about sea view rooms but were told the hotel was fully booked ( it was actually empty) so no chance of ever getting a sea view room. Room was ok,...

Recently stayed at the Kilbirnie for 4 nights with my partner and daughter. First holiday/break we've done together. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly, especially the brunette on reception. The hotel itself is really nice also, will be visiting again. Thank you :)

My husband and I booked to stay at the Kilbirnie with our 2 dogs for a short holiday to Newquay because of its location and the facilities. The hotel is right on the coast and is easily viewable from the road. A few minutes walk from the town and 5 minutes to the nearest beach so the location was ideal!...
