we went here with shearings, the hotel is in a great location overlooking tolcarn beach, unfortunately we did'nt have a sea view, what we did have was a decent sized room which seemed to have recently refurbished,it was clean and smart and well laid out.the food was good, the entertainment was decent, the staff were brilliant, friendly and willing to please.

Wonderful views over the sea, recently refurbished public rooms spacious and comfortable but many bedrooms small and rather tired. Decor in corridors tatty! Friendly staff in restaurant and particularly at reception and the bar was appreciated. Food was good and service in the restaurant was again good. Location of hotel was a plus as it was alongside part of the...

Hi Martin Thank you for commenting on trip advisor, and I am glad that you enjoyed many aspects of your stay with us. We have a robust refurbishment programme, and are probably about 70% of the way through it, before it all starts again, but the corridors, whilst I agree would benefit from decorating are not the highest priority and...

Hi Victor Thank you for your review on trip advisor. I am glad that you found your refurbished room to be very clean. The corridors are on the refurbishment plan, but they are the not the top priority as we consider the focus should be on the bedrooms and the public rooms that are used constantly. Thanks again for taking...

We upgraded to a seaview, and was allocated Room 206 with a stunning view of Tolcarne beach. The meals were good and filling, with three choices for starter/main/dessert. The hotel was very clean throughout. Our rooms were small but had everything we needed. All the staff were pleasant and helpful and the meals were excellent with a good choice on the menu and all well cooked and nicely presented. It was in a good location with a lovely view from comfortable seating in the lounges.

Me and my partner booked this hotel for 2 nights for a weekend away before our baby is due. Firstly parking is £5 a night in a off road gravel unsecured car park. Secondly on walking up the staircase we notice a sign informing guests of a swine flu outbreak which being heavily pregnant worried me and I wasn't informed...
