Stayed with my husband and another couple (separate rooms) for 2 nights. Yes rooms are small but enough space for what you need to move around easily. Shower room is enclosed as another reviewer mentioned & is very small but this is a small B&B and it looks like they are all the same in this area. For the price... More

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights in August 2013, over the bank holiday. The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect, literally a 2 minute walk to Tesco, pubs, shops, restaurants and a 5 minute walk to the beach front! Upon arrival we were greeted by Mike the owner, who was extremely friendly and welcoming. We travelled... More

We had 2 nights here, and can't fault a thing. We were in room 1, which was very comfortable and spacious and quiet. The usual tea and coffee facilities were included, and the addition of a DVD player built into the TV and a small fridge were most welcome. Mike was very friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived... More

On arrival Mike was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He gave us directions to a nearby car park where guests can park displaying a permit. We stayed in room 1, a family room situated on the 1st floor at the back of the house. this room was quiet (apart from the seagulls) and the room was immaculately clean, it had a... More

Myself and my partner stayed at Pencrebar Guest House in late May/early July, for seven nights/eight days, and it did everything it said on the tin! We were looking for somewhere centrally located, cheap and cheerful, and Pencrebar ticked all these boxes. Located on the forefront of Berry Road, its directly opposite the sea-road, with its nightclubs, restaurants, souvenier shops... More

My partner and I stayed here for couple of nights and couldn't fault the Pencrebar! The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily, the milk was also topped up in the fridge, our bed re-made and the bathroom mopped. The parking is literally a two minute walk away and as very few of the b and bs in the area seemed... More

The Pencrebar is one of the cleanest establishments I have ever stayed in and credit must be given to this fact. On the whole I found Mike to be a welcoming person, alas this was marred by an 'off day', whereby I felt he treated us like he was a landlord to longstanding tenants and not as a genuine host...
