We stayed here for 5 nights at the end of our trip to Cornwall. Our first nights we were walking the South West Coast Path - it was spectacular. We stayed here because it was available, inexpensive and was well reviewed. We were not disappointed. All in all, good value for the money. It was clean and everything was fine....

Although the room was tiny, it was perfect! Thoughtful attention to detail made all difference. Matt is a lovely balance between German care and efficiency and warm hospitality. The situation was ideal for us, near transport and walking distance to everything we needed, (including the best little pub just over the road) it is just off the main thoroughfare so...

One of the very nicest guest houses I have stayed in and probably others think so too for I was only able to get in for only half of my time in Penzance. Next time I will book well in advance. Cornerways is a delightful place and my single room was most comfortable with all the facilities and extras that...

Since my first visit to Cornerways (which was itself a great experience), it is clear that Matt has worked even harder on improving the standard of his cosy and friendly guest house. The attention to detail is exemplary. From the high-quality dining room crockery to the custom-made bed linen, nothing is overlooked. As ever, the welcome is warm and nothing...

Got the last room at Cornerways when we were stranded in Penzance due to a cancelled Skybus flight to the Isles of Scilly. The place was spotlessly clean and Matt was a fantastic host, very friendly and when the TV did not work in the room (not the end of the world) was so helpful and swapped it over for...

I returned to Cornerways for a fortnight in June 2015 and found that Matt maintains a consistently high standard of accommodation. He is a very welcoming host and an invaluable source of information about the West Cornwall area. My room was comfortable and very well serviced and there was plenty of storage space. There was an ingeniously sited rack above...

Matt is a helpful and welcoming host. The rooms are clean, comfortable and functional, the breakfast is of a good standard. Very well situated for the bus and trains, making it a good hub to visit the whole area of west Cornwall. A very enjoyable stay.
