Hubby booked us here for an anniversary weekend and what a good find. The Penrose is lovely and clean, just at the top of the village. Our room had a gorgeous view, the breakfast choices were wide and the cooking phenomenal. And Ted was kind enough to drop hubby and I off at a place or two (as there were...

I/we have always wanted to visit Port Isaac and decided to do this in Nov. Eddie and Sian were good hosts and kindly let us park on their drive way past checking out time when we wanted to go into the main town to have a roam around. If I/we ever return to PI again we will certainly try and...

We spent a wonderful two days here and just loved it. Our Host Ed picked us up from Clovelly and gave us a tour of all the scenic places on our way back to Port Isaac. As if that was not enough we were invited to join him and go to his band's gig the first night. I said only...

Sian and Ed are lovely hosts; very friendly and helpful. Their little dog Griff is adorable. Had a great view of Port Isaac from room. No problems at all. Would definitely recommend.

The hosts were friendly and welcoming, despite having us foisted on them at the last minute, our original choice of B&B having obviously double-booked – but we’ll not name and shame... Penrose is easy to find, and it was good to have ample off-road parking, for Port Isaac is not the place to go sight-seeing by car. Our room was...

We arrived at Penrose late in the day, having not booked anywhere and finding that most places were closed for the winter. Despite having been away themselves, the owners welcomed our rather large and noisy brood and could not have been more hospitable. The rooms were lovely...our girls had an ensuite room to themselves, my husband and I had an...

Room was very clean and quite big. There is no shower in the room, which was a bit of suprise in a new built-house as such, running batth evey day was just too much effort and too waste of time Our room was at the ground floor, kichen is at the first floor which just above our room. Every morning...

I am sorry this couple were not happy. They were double booked elsewhere in August and we happened to have a room free that day. They arrived, understandably in a terrible mood and took it out on us. If they had asked they could have had a room with a shower. The Gentleman ordered breakfast for both and they were...
