David & Jocelyn hosts, well more than that,I cannot speak highly enough about them and Westaway, unfortuanatly its was our last stay as they are retiring from this business. My wife and I have had most memorable stays there over the last four years and will be sadly missed as a place to call our Cornish retreat. To David & Jocelyn have a long Healthy , Happy retirement with your family and friends, Take care ❤️

We booked two nights in the Lavender room, which has superb views across to the sea where the gorgeous sunsets can be enjoyed whilst relaxing with a glass or two on the balcony. The house is immaculately kept and the standard of service in all respects cannot be faulted. Breakfasts are very generous and beautifully done. With the brilliant weather I wish we could have stayed for the week. One of the best B&Bs - Thank you Jocelyn and David for your hospitality.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights over the August Bank Holiday and the stay was perfect. Jocelyn and David run a 1st class B&B. We stayed in 'Rosemary' Room which is well worth paying the small extra for, a huge comfortable bed, large spacious room and bathroom with a bath and extremely powerful shower, all impeccably clean. The view was to die for looking out across the countryside TCW was provided, with fresh milk morning and night, cleaned each day. Clean towels provided daily as required and bed attended to morning and night. Moving on to the breakfast, these are the best we have ever experienced, wonderful choice but if there is something not listed they are more than happy to accommodate your requests. Huge portions of quality produce, and beautifully presented, all served in the conservatory looking out over an immaculate garden with views again over the countryside to the sea. I could go on about the high standard, but will just say if you are looking for a B&B in this area Westaway is a must. Thank you Jocelyn and David for a fantastic stay.

I have to say, this is the best B.B. we have ever tried in the UK. The place is like a little piece of paradise. The rooms, the house the area is really nice and clean and the view is magnificent . The breakfast was like a 5 star hotel. Fresh fruit, fresh eggs from the farmhouse next door and fresh flowers at the table. There is nothing to complain about It should be possible to give an extra mark for places like this. Jocelyn and David, thanks for a wonderful stay, you make it feel like home and we didn't want to leave. And thanks for all the help planning daytrip, founding a restaurant and all the other things I hope we can visit you again next time where in the UK on bike holiday. Loving greetings from Denmark, Tommy, Heidi

Jocelyn and David are the perfect hosts in their perfect B&B. From the sent of fresh Lilies as we arrived and warm welcome to the outstanding views of North Cornwall and the delicious breakfasts with a menu including home made muesli and crab cakes. Westaway is a secret that we have to promote. Tucked away off the main roads, Westaway is an idyllic surprise. We are veterans of this part of Cornwall, but our regular hotel no longer exists so we were delighted to find Westaway. Well situated for New Polzeath, Padstow and a short distance to Port Issac. Our room was immaculate and spacious with stunning views. David's garden is delightful and he has excelled with the wonderful vegetable garden. Do take a look.

We booked two nights on our recent Cornwall tour based on reviews. This is above 5* accommodation based a couple of miles outside Port Isaac. Amazing rooms with superb en-suite luxury showers & Jocelyn and David are perfect hosts. The views from the breakfast room across fields, coastline and sea have to be seen to be believed. Guests book time and again, due to the high standard, once you stay all will be understood. Cannot recommend enough.

What a lovely place to spend a few days-or even more! Jocelyn and David were wonderful hosts and their home is immaculate. Breakfast was a stand-out! Gorgeous muesli, fruit, eggs and the bacon....Yum! Lovely short walk down to Port Isaac which is picture perfect and we even saw Doc Martin being filmed. Perfect place to stay.

Perfect. Joslyn & David run an immaculate ship! The views are spectacular, house and hosts welcoming. Our room was so clean with lovely cotton sheets and views over to Padstow direction. Breakfast a great selection of fresh fruits, full Cornish, and even crab cakes. About 20 mins walk or £7 taxi ride from Port Isaac, but do eat at Longcross Hotel (5 mins up the road). Joslyn helped plan our first walk and our whole stay was superb. Thanks!

We agree wholeheartedly with a previous review: This may well have been the best B&B we've ever stayed in. We spent two nights here in October and wish it could have been longer. Jocelyn and David are perfect hosts, so gracious, warm and easygoing, and did everything to help us enjoy our stay both at their place and in our trips around the area. Breakfasts are wonderful, the rooms are immaculate and comfortable, the view is great. The Westaway was a bit difficult to find but this was our first trip to Cornwall and it was our fault for not doing a bit more research when we set out on our drive from Penzance to Port Isaac. One last note: when we thought that we had lost a camera in a nearby village the previous day (we eventually found it "hidden" in our suitcase), Jocelyn and David did everything they could to help us, making calls on their own even after we had checked out. They're exactly the kind of people who should run a B&B. Lovely people, lovely place to stay.
