The bedroom was The Stable Suite and was excellent! Impossible to rate anything else as nothing else was available! We were always going to visit this establishment on this trip for sentimental reasons, but as it was the 'closed season' we stayed on a room only basis. No Bar or

Thank you for your review. We are delighted you liked the lovely Stable Suite. I am sorry you felt it wasn't value for money. It seems a shame to review so negatively like this now as we spoke in person together when you first booked and I explained in great detail the arrangements, also stating that I would totally understand if you wished to cancel and book elsewhere given that the bar and restaurant were closed in the winter. The price you paid for The Stable Suite was less than half of the normal in season rate. You decided to go ahead and when we met on arrival, during your stay and at departure you said everything was to your liking. We wish you all the best for the future but if you do return please contact us direct and we will do everything we can to help you have a lovely stay.

I suggest you address yourself to the producer of the Doc Martin programme in the UK which is I believe, ITV, so do a bit of web searching on the UK company that produces Doc Martin and then email them to ask. Ok?

is smoking allowed?
Good Morning, Smoking is only permitted in the outiside areas of the hotel. We have a very big decking, obviously taking into consideration other people sat out there and a designated smoking area for guests to use. All of the rooms and inside of the hotel are of course non smoking. Many Thanks The Longcross Hotel
