Stayed in The long cross for a two night break last week. A last minute find but we were not disappointed although the 'coach house' was not like id expected it. It was very modern, clean and comfortable. Staff could not have been nicer. The waitress was very friendly and even sorted for my daughter to take her dessert to...

Very quiet place. Nice clean room , great hot strong shower and the meals were delicious. Heritage building with beautiful gardens. Nothing was too much trouble for the management and the hotel had a great feel of well cared for about it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone

Had a great stay here considering we booked it so last minute it turned out to be the best turnout. Luckily we had lovely weather so were able to enjoy the gardens and balcony part of the bar. Also enjoyed stunning sunsets overlooking the fantastic seaview whilst we ate a delicious 3 course meal in the restaurant both nights. Was...

We stayed at the Longcross for a one night stay as a family of five. the reviews of the place looked OK and the area was busy that weekend so we booked in to the 'suite' for the night. How disappointed we were.... The suite feels like a poor relation, situated across the car park, my heart sank as we...

This hotel is set in a good location to get about and looks very nice when you pull up to check in, the lady on the desk was put out that we had stopped her on her computer to check in and we were dealt with swiftly and handed over to another member of staff who showed us back outside...

We had visited the Longcross 13 years ago for our first holiday and we fell in love with the hotel and the area straight away. We decided for our 10th Wedding Anniversary to revisit our old haunt. Sadly our room was awful. We were put in a a room in the really bad extension. The room was dark in part...

Good morning Amanda, Firstly - thank you for your very positive comments about the staff and food at the Longcross. To address your negative points - I very clearly remember taking your telephone booking and explaining that, as you reserved at very short notice, we only had one room available which was a standard ground floor room with no outlook....

We had just spent 3 great days in London and arriving at the Longcross reminded me of stories of Londoners going to the country for a weekend away. This was a charming experience. Our room was large and had a nice size bathroom as well. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming. The front room that includes the bar area...

This is an old Victorian house which needs some TLC. There are amazing views from the hotel across the surrounding countryside and the terrace is a great place to have tea or an early evening drink. The breakfast was very good and so was the service. But: Our room was in the annexe and very basic and the bed was...

We stayed here for a few days over the bank holiday with our dog. We have been to the hotel on and off over the past 20 years for drinks/tea but never stayed there. The setting is absolutely glorious. We were lucky enough to have sunny warm weather and enjoyed its proximity to so many wonderful places, such as Port...

Food was good, honeymoon Lodge was excellent, loved the privacy of the gardens. Location meant that we could enjoy the walks onto the coastal path and down into Port Isaac and beyond. Staff were very friendly. Would go back again.
