We were charmed by the historic Old Count House and its very friendly and helpful hosts, Cheryl and Ken, on our first ever visit to Cornwall (St. Ives). Our well appointed ground floor room was full of light, had a view of the sea (over the rooftops) and was spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were made to order and impeccably cooked and...

Just returned from a lovely short break, staying at The Old Count House, run by Cheryl and Ken Canning. The room was spacious, light and airy with a Juliette balcony overlooking St Ives harbour. Breakfast choices were excellent. Would certainly recommend this B&B to anyone who is looking for good accommodation with friendly hosts.

I recently stayed here with my wife and we were very well looked after by Cheryl and Ken. The accommodation was bright, spacious, well-stocked and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Location-wise it was ideally placed and within easy walking distance of the town and restaurants. Importantly, parking was provided with plenty of space to manoeuvre. Overall,...

Much truth as been said in recent previous reviews so we don't want to repeat to much. The place is a winner,we met friendly folk there and the hosts kept our travel home...

This is a beautiful B&B which is warm, friendly and cosy. Ken and Cheryl who own The Old Count House are lovely people who go beyond their duties to ensure you enjoy your stay. The breakfast is delicious, the beds are extremely comfy and the rooms are spotlessly clean! The centre of St Ives is a short walk away which...

What a nice place to stay while in St Ives! The Old Count House is managed by a friendly couple doing their best to make you feel welcome. The sea view from my room certainly added value. Close to almost everything, beach and shops within a few minutes walk. Breakfast very good and quite a few possibilities. If they add...

The hotel is excellent: impeccably clean and comfortable. The rooms are big and many have sea view. The breakfast is simply perfect. The cost is totally fair. The owners are kind and friendly. We would definitely stay there again!
