We loved Cockle Cottage on our precious visit and confess we were a little sad to have missed he chance to rebook there for our late Feb holiday ... never fear ... the Dairy is lovely! If fact we felt a little disloyal to find ourselves thinking we may just like it slightly more! A warm welcome from Barbara, Mark...

So glad you had a lovely stay and that February weather was reasonably kind to you for the week. We have ordered another SuperKing Hypnos bed for Cockle too so soon that will be just as comfy - which cottage will you choose next time?

My wife and I wanted a Xmas detox and this was the perfect place to do so! There was a generous spread laid out for us (box of celebrations, bottle of wine, scones, Xmas crackers etc). We'll Definitely come back!

This is truly a perfect holiday home to stay! If it's unspoilt location and accommodation you're after and where every little detail is catered for, you'll never go wrong with Roundhouse Barn! Mark & Barbara Sadler have nailed self catering perfection just for you! 3 fabulous cottages - The Dairy, Cockle and The Carthouse. My most recent stay was in...

We stayed in Cockle Cottage for a week in mid September and used it as a base for coastal walking. The cottage was spotless, charming, comfortable and a very high spec, (particularly the bathroom which far exceeded expectations). There are lovely countryside views along one side of the cottage and we also enjoyed the outside space, a private patio. We...

What a find! Amazing location, great attention to detail, absolutely everything we needed to make our stay really comfortable. Mark and Barbara went above and beyond in welcoming us into their fabulous B and B accommodation and looked after our every need. Breakfasts were an absolute treat; we felt truly spoilt.

We were gifted a three night stay here for our mini honeymoon and we are so glad we got to spend a few days here after a very tiring and emotional wedding! From the moment we arrived at the barns, Mark and Barbara couldn't have been more welcoming! The B&B suite is amazing. We had all the facilities we needed...

We stayed in The Dairy. It is a beautiful property - tastefully furnished (up to date), comfortable and well equipped. The welcome pack was appreciated. Barbara was a super host - not in one's face but available if required. All of this enabled a relaxing break in this beautiful part of the world. The Sadlers are a mine of information...

So glad you enjoyed your stay in The Dairy. There is no doubt that most of our guests come here for the peace, tranquility and a relaxing break. Barney likes to say hi to all our guests and we think Lucia is already taking after him, despite her only being 4 months old! Hope to see you again.

We have had a super week in Cockle Cottage. We arrived to a warm welcome from Barbara and Barney, the dog, and felt at home straight away. We haven't met Mark during our stay but his scones were delicious! The cottage is very tastefully appointed and was sparkling clean. The kitchen is well equipped with good quality pots and pans....

We stayed in Cockle Cottage for 9 nights and despite a gruelling 9 hour drive down it was a great feeling to walk through the cottage front door again. I cannot remember how many times we stayed in this cottage, what I can remember is the quality of the cottage and the constant reminder of attention to detail that Barbara...
