OK, there are plus points, so let me be fair to the Cornishman. It is cheap if you get a last minute booking and it's in Cornwall so that nice too! Other than that this is a hovel of biblical proportions. We booked on the internet at short notice and arrived early evening. Parking was easy, loads of spaces, grabbed...

Booked just one night at a good price....£47.50 for two inc breakfast. Pub is fine and olde worldy. Locals bar/games room can get a bit noisy with local youths playing pool (but not buying a drink?). Dining in the var area is a bit tight so book a table if you intend eating....just in case. And even in winter. Nice...

After a slight housekeeping problem necessitating a swap I was given a fabulous room, very clean, warm and welcoming, comfy bed and good shower with bags of hot water whenever I needed. Tea and coffee in room and essential toiletries. If you want breakfast early there is a very good spread of croissants, juice, tea, coffee, cereals, yoghurts and toast....

We stayed here on a Friday night after finding a really good deal. We weren't left disappointed at all. Bed & continental breakfast, en-suite, TV with Sky all for a fab price. Would pay more to stay here again if no deals are on. We had evening meal here too which was lovely. Staff helpful and looked after us well....

We experienced such an enjoyable stay in Tintagel, partly because of this place. The accommodation exceeded our expectations; our room had an excellent window view across the fields to the coast. Fitted with a TV, Sky and ensuite it had all we needed. Continental breakfast was included with a great spread. Considering the very low cost, these rooms are exceptionally...

Having been coming here for 20 years as was lovely we found the new management to have let things slip big style, accommodation poor room not serviced properly, dirty floor not hovered and had to kick off to get clear towels. Most days we had no hot water for showers said they would fix it but never did perhaps they...

Its an inn so be prepared for a large TV and sports in the bar. Outside there is a garden with kids stuff in but obviously only good for good weather. The accommodation is not in the Inn but attached in a sort of apartment block. You have to go outside to get into the Inn and order food. Just...

We're walking our way round the coast, and this was a perfect location to include a trip to the local castle and church. The walks along the coast - stunning but take care if you've got a young family. Very warm welcome, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Room was pleasant, nice and warm. Wifi was good,...

I picked this hotel (which includes a full English Breakfast) on the internet and yes it's new and no it's not perfect, but it was cleaned, nicely located---the staff took care of me like I was family and the owner was in and out and made for some interesting talks... It is not fancy and it's fairly new and so...

After Arriving at Atlantic Cottage, we went down to Tintagel which we have been to before and parked in the central car park which is quite reasonable, we noticed the Cornishman Inn. After looking at the shops in a cold wind we went back to our accommodation and decided to phone up the Cornishman Inn after looking at the Reviews...
