If you want ultra mod boutique style hotels forget it. Lewis's is full of old time charm and peaceful tranquility. John is an extremely good host. His cooked breakfast (very large) is so tasty, unfortunately we couldn't manage one each day. Nothing is too much trouble. There are always fresh flowers everywhere. So clean and tidy. The only criticism is...

John is an excellent host and wonderful cook. He has great attention to detail. The cooked breakfast was delicious after fresh fruit, yogurt and cereal. There are lots of pictures to study especially on the walls of the staircase and interesting pieces of furniture. There were fresh flowers on all the breakfast tables. This is a quaint very old building with...

Lewis's Bed and Breakfast is located on the main road of Tintagel, it is a beautiful old building that is absolutely stunning to look at and it's packed with original features and lots of vintage loveliness! The place has a wonderful atmosphere and is truly well looked after. Service is first class and the rooms are spotlessly clean. This time...

We have had the most enjoyable stay here. John is the perfect host, so very welcoming and friendly and nothing too much trouble. Our room was lovely and a joy to come back to at the end of the day - the Turret Room at the front of the B&B great view down the main street for people-watching and seaview...

We arrived at Tintagel with no prior booking and were fortunate to find Lewis`s B&B in the High Street. John the proprietor advised us he had available accommodation which turned out to be perfect given its location. This is a charming older property with many original features and therefore the guest rooms were of varied sizes. We opted to stay...

We stayed at lewis's for one night. John was a complete host. The accommodation is first class, with brilliant views, and it is located centrally in tintagel so good for shops and bars/food. The breakfast was excellent and John was attentive to all the guests there. He was also very happy to pass on knowledge or suggestions for places to...

We were only in Tintagel for one night and could not speak too highly of Lewis' B&B. We had booked in advance and stayed in the Rose Room. It was very light, airy, clean and spacious with a lovely view. John was an excellent host and had thought of everything one could need. The breakfast he provided was beautifully cooked...

I recently stayed at Lewis's in the "Green Room" for three nights. John was a very welcoming host and was a real champ for carrying my heavy suitcase up to my room for me! It weighed a ton. The room was a small double with small bathroom, tea & coffee facilties, wardrobe, dresser and tv. The bed and pillows were...
