We arrived on Christmas Eve to a warm welcome and a glass of mulled wine, our whole stay was delightful . Beautifully decorated , every room with its freshly cut tree. Every where twinkled! We were carefully looked after and the meals were delicious, we grew very fond of everyone who made us feel relaxed and at home❄🎄❄🎄

The positives are; the location; the restoration of the bar, lounges, restaurant and; it's dog friendly. However we paid £300 for two nights B&B and the rooms were terrible. The first room we were shown was like a junk shop, but much dirtier. There were stains on the walls, on the bedding and there were hairs in the shower. The...

When we first arrived we had great expectations as the exterior of this imposing property was breath taking. Here it all started to go wrong, they messed up our room booking and tried to blame it on the booking agent, this took forever to resolve. Next the room, the view was stunning, the room was shabby and the en-suite facility's...

I'm not sure where to start with this hotel, I guess the dog-friendly bit, as I found this hotel whilst searching for ones that are dog-friendly... I would not call this hotel dog-friendly, they merely allow you to bring your dog and charge you for the privilege - £10 per night for a small dog and £20 per night for...

As you arrive the sign says "Welcome Home" and although we don't live in a castle, at Camelot we feel at home. All the staff are so friendly and helpful, always smiling and nothing is too much trouble. The bedrooms vary in size but they are always clean and the sea and moor views can hold your attention for longer...

The experience reminded us of the tale of The Emperor’s New Clothes; the views and individual rooms are very good, however there is something contrived about the hotel. There is too much emphasis on artwork and self-promotion, which detracted from what it should be …. a place for guests. In keeping with the hotel, the restaurant was expansive, the evening...

Arrived in the dark and was very impressed, even more so in the morning when it got light, from the moment we stepped in the door we were treated like royalty by the very friendly and efficient staff, Ted Stourton (one of the owners) and resident artist popped by and gave us a very welcoming and friendly (if not slightly...
