We recently had a two night stay at the New Inn in Clovelly. The village is absolutely the most amazing place ever, like something out of a fairy story. Yes, the walk up and down to the harbor is steep and a bit difficult, but...More
Visited Clovelly while on holiday in Cornwall, paid our entrance fee and was given a pamphlet with a discount at the New Inn, we made the difficult decent to the bottom and decided to walk back up and have lunch at the New Inn, menu...More
I had concerns that this hotel would be very touristy. I was pleasantly surprised by the warmth of the female barmaid, the breakfast staff and the lady at reception. The rooms were adequate and clean.

Hello! There is no parking at the New Inn, however there is a public car park around 100m away. There is no vehicular access to Clovelly street, you will see why when you get there! The Red Lion Hotel is on the harbour at the bottom of the hill, there is a separate road access that can only be used if you are staying there, there is parking there. Higher Clovelly has a few B&B's. Hope that helps, Paul
Hi there, Clovelly is a pedestrianised village due to the steep cobbled street. Parking is situated at the top of Clovelly, you need to leave your car at the top and walk down the cobbles to us, approximately 10 minute walk.
