We've just returned from a very happy stay. A family of three adults, our room was large, airy, clean and comfortable and Simon and Aga, perfect hosts. Breakfast, of which there were endless choices, was beautifully cooked and presented and and an evening meal in the restaurant should not be missed. It was a small menu, but the food amazing....

We stayed two nights at this bistro/guest house which were fantastic and our hosts couldn't do more for us from the moment we arrived and parked the car a short distance away using there own parking permit. The food in the restaurant would put many top establishments to shame with an excellent choice and a fine selection of wines to match....

My husband and I stayed in Dartmouth for the regatta and wanted to see the fireworks on the Saturday evening. We started to get hungry about 8.30pm and went to this little bistro. The owner and his wife were so friendly and welcoming and we were looking forward to our food. However as they were busy it fast approached 9pm...

We stayed at Anzac street bistro as we were attending a wedding in Dartmouth. From the moment we checked in we were made to feel very welcome. Even though we arrived much earlier than check in time, Aga helped us with a wardrobe malfunction as we had to rush to the wedding. On our return, we found our room to...

Simon and Aga were both very friendly from the moment we arrived until we left and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was very large and comfortable. There was loads of shelving, draws and a wardrobe (which also contained extra blankets). There are tea making facilities in the room and fresh homemade biscuits every day. We stayed for 4...

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Simon is the perfect host. Friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The accommodation is very convenient located in the centre of the village and immaculately appointed. Great breakfast and dinner. Being frequent travellers, we did check the reviews before we stayed and are not sure how anyone could give this...

We liked the room although at about £115 it was nothing special. We had problems with the ensuite door which would not stay closed. We weren't prepared for a £20 late check out fee that the owner vigorously tried to enforce since we were 12 minutes late in leaving (at around 10.30am) explaining that they had to pay the cleaner...

Hello Thank you for taking time to leave a review. You stayed for one night which does work a little more than a two or three night stay. There are a few comments that you have made that are incorrect. Firstly the bathroom door does have a lock on it and I did check that it was working and there...

We have had a fabulous stay at Anzac, Simon & Aga liked after us really well, the rooms was lovely and they had thought of everything, like fresh milk & Fresh ground coffee in a little fridge for us. We ate at their restaurant downstairs which was delicious - it has been out of season, but they still opened for...
