Had a most excellent festive beer in this proper pub. Nothing corporate or plastic here or crappy compilation playing in the background just a smile at the bar,a good beer offering and although didn't eat, what looked like a great food selection.
This was a bit off the beaten track for me, about eight miles of so north of Dorchester. But it was very comfortable accommodation, set behind a traditional old English pub in a very old village which is named in the Doomsday Book.
I don't know where to start really so here goes.
