Lovely friendly staff fantastic views our room was clean and sufficient for our needs only downside no bath mat so slippery whilst showering. Breakfast was nice and always plenty of everything and always hot. We ate in the bar one night food was nice and again hot. The only moan we have is there's no entertainment and nothing to do...

After 19 years we thought as we needed to stay the night we choose this hotel ( we held our daughters wedding reception in this hotel previously, and it was a really good day then). But unfortunately our recent visit was not as expected. The room was out dated and Luke a broom cupboard with a three quarter bed for...

Best day we have ever had. The staff made our wedding so special it felt like we were celebrities. Sue and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make sure our day was perfect. The buffet was so lovely all the guests said how much they enjoyed the food. The bedroom we stayed in was gorgeous...

Bought my three children here for a three night stay, I am a single mum. It is so difficult to find a hotel that can accommodate a family and have a decent sized room with proper single beds for them and at such a good rate, most places we visit want us to have z-beds squeezed in or separate rooms....

Stayed with the family on the 8th August in 2 large rooms. The rooms were in the main hotel and very well appointed. Great large screen Tv and excellent WIFI signal which was free of charge. We ate in the bar and restaurant over the 4 days. The food was always good quality and very good portion sizes. The staff...

We were only able to have 2 nights away for our honeymoon. We booked a room at the Gipsy Hill. On arrival we were very disappointed with the look of the place. It was outdated and shabby. We approached the receptionist to check in and we apologised for being an hour or so early. She was incredibly rude and customer...

The food and service especially in the restaurant was excellent. The hotel clearly has rooms renovated for a niche clientele, as I was on business I was put in a standard double. Unfortunately with the exception of the ultra modern tv on a stand, the room was dreadful. I cannot lay claim to it being unclean as it seemed fine...

Really disappointed with both the decor and the service. On arrival everything seemed ok if a little out dated. The room was fine ( i have seen worse ) . When i then went to the restaurant and bar area this is where things went a bit down hill, the bar area looks like something from the 60s and could...

Big family gathering for son's wedding. 24 of us stayed at the hotel. The building is much in need of some TCL but the staff are good and the good is good. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in room 12A which was very good. If you want decent good and acceptable service book the Gopsy Hotel. If you...
