Stayed in the Poppy room which was huge and included everything we wanted. Lillian cooked a superb breakfast and made us feel welcome in every sense. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend without hesitation. For eating out, try the Puffing Billy at Exton.

I stayed here as I was visiting a local business and stayed overnight. Lil, the owner couldn't have been more accommodating. There is a great running trail on its doorstep and you get a great breakfast in the price. Free wifi and great value

Found this from other TripAdvisor reviews and it didn't disappoint. Set in beautiful rural Devon, in walking distance to Topsham and about 4 miles from Exeter, Four Chimneys was a charming and comfortable place to stay. Lillian was attentive and thoughtful and served a lovely breakfast. The bedroom was very nice and we heard the occasional owl which only added...

Due to flooding problems at place we were booked into originally, the B &B found us this place at very short notice. We telephoned in advance, and spoke with Lillian; who sounded very pleasant. Upon arrival we were struck by how peaceful the location is, and how accommodating Lillian was in the circumstances. The house is decorated and equipped to...

I stayed at this place for a few nights while on business in the area. A beautiful home from home. The host was so welcoming nothing was too much trouble. The Poppy Room was very comfortable best night's sleep I have had in ages. Loved the complimentary snacks basket in the room while I was working. A great selection for...

I have stayed several times. All rooms have very comfortable beds and a lovely quiet environment. Very tasty breakfast with a great breakfast menu. Great location for walks and cycles and only minutes from Topsham and a short drive to Exeter.

We stayed one night after dropping our son off at the University. House is a bit of the beaten track- but worth the effort. Would go back again. Clearly a lot of thought has gone in to making the guests' stay comfortable.: Toweling dressing gowns- tea, coffee, mini-cheddars, crisps, biscuits and fresh fruit in the room. Lovely breakfasts- I had...

We only stayed for one night but it was excellent. So charming as was the owner, Lill, who was attentive and yet unobtrusive. Room was a good size and so appropriately furnished for the old Victorian house that it is, hidden away near the boatyard and yet very near to the main Exeter-Exmouth main road. The only problem was-Lill wouldn't...

Only had a one night stay but my friend (and our dogs)and I had a very nice time. Our rooms were lovely and very comfortable. Plenty of tea/coffee/snacks in the room. All kinds of toiletries available. We had a lovely cooked breakfast and Lill could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Even Bella the dog was friendly! I would...

My girlfriend and I took two of the rooms here in this nice little b&b. Both were attractive and very comfy, and we appreciated the free wifi. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the excellent breakfasts (for which there was an amazing menu catering to all - Lil even had gluten free bread in!). Lil has a...
