Came tonight for my partner's mum's birthday, lovely pub , friendly staff and fantastic food at a reasonable price ...would definitely recommend and will be returning . The salmon fish cake starter was light and crisp , the pork tenderloin was succulent and went well with sweet potato mash with a beautiful gravy and the treacle tart was just right....

Lovely lunch catch up with my parents. Good pub food served at a good pace. Friendly and smiley staff. Some excellent draft beers available with some local brews available. Worth a trip down from Cardiff. Even has an open fire complete with a proper, scruffy, lovable pub dog.

Popped in for lunch on Saturday. Very glad we did. Dog friendly. Simple homemade food which was tasty and inexpensive. A few real ales. Smart comfortable interior plus outside tables. You may want to reserve as seemed quite busy. Plenty of parking.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed. We were seated in the bar area which was a...

My husband surprised me with a lovely birthday meal here last night. From the moment we crossed the threshold we were made very welcome, the barman even wished me a Happy Birthday (obviously my hubby had mentioned it was for my birthday when he booked the table) - a nice touch though. Our meal was simply delicious - the fillet...
