I called ahead to book a room and negotiated what I thought was a reasonable rate for two nights b and b. On arrival the girl had no record of the rate I had agreed and I had to pay more. In order to stay within my tight budget i subsequently had to forgo breakfast. 10 o'clock check out is...

Our stay at the Bendene hotel was ok. When we arrived, our welcome was not very pleasant and until we met another lady who worked there in the morning I was about to write a bad review, but she was actually nice. Rooms were ok, can do with a make-over especially the woollen blankets. Location was good, very central. Breakfast...

Very small room and photos misleading. Breakfast period only 45 mins and was not offered breakfast after this period. Hotel says free parking on their site but was advised by hotel to park at a pay and display car park nearby. People not friendly.

The location of the Bendene hotel is excellent, a short walk from the town centre and yet in a quiet side street, so not bothered by traffic noise. Our room was small with two single beds, but the bath room was nice and spacious. We had a quiet room at the back overlooking the pool. Unfortunately the mattresses on the...

This place is not value for money. The decor needs updating. Beds really really soft. Bath towel just about big enough to wrap around a small child. Hospitality tray in the room was not replenished and only enough shower gel, shampoo and conditioner for 1 person for 1 day. The breakfast was okay but cold, toast was cold and not...

My partner and I have stayed at The Bendene numerous times since October 2013. The hotel is located within a short walking distance to both Exeter Central and Exeter St.Davids stations. The Bendene offers great value for money, breakfast is also included in the price! The breakfast is always superb, freshly cooked and locally sourced, there is a vast breakfast menu...

Just back from a three night stay. The Bendene was a good choice - a short walk from the centre but a quiet street. Very clean, the staff we met were very pleasant but as this is a straightforward b&b establishment we only saw someone at breakfast or when we rang the reception bell! Would recommend.

We expected far more for the price.Good location between the city center and the train stations. Easy walk to shopping, sights and restaurants. The breakfast was decent, most of the staff was very helpful, friendly and hard working. The kitchen was clean. The room was shabby, cluttered, tired and very out of date. The sheets had pen marks on them...

I spent 4 days in the Bendene. I appreciated that feeling to be home. Everything is clean. While I was sharing the bathroom, i really appreciated that the bathroom were always cleaned. Very good choice for the breakfast which was generous. TV and Wifi available. The hotel is perfectly placed if you want to visit the downtown. Exeter is charming....
