I stayed here with my boyfriend in October. The hotel was in a brilliant location and the room was excellent. The staff were friendly and welcoming and generally the place was good. I would go back. Only negatives were it was a bit shabby and the fire door outside the bedroom needed oiling!

We spent one night at the Queens Court on a deal so it was very good value. First impression was negative as the reception and stairs/corridors are the narrow and looking tired. That may be why the place was swarming with decorators preparing a quote. Our room was small but had everything we needed and was nicely decorated. The cooked...

Room was large which was good as I paid extra for it but whilst not the most modern was ok. Which about sums the place up. The staff where helpful but best was the restaurant A1 food with A1 + service mixed up with a fun city and top location an excellent night away !

We had a pleasant stay at the Queens Court Hotel. It is perfectly located for exploring Exeter being a 5 minute walk to the city centre. It is 5 minutes from Exeter Central railway station and about 15 minutes from Exeter St Davids. Although centrally located it is peacefully situated within a square so no traffic noise. We stayed for...

Nice approach to this hotel which gives you a warm feeling but internally it's a slightly different feel. Our room was dated and to pay for an upgrade to a larger room to find an extra single bed in there defeated the object of having paid extra for more space. Beds were not very comfy and decor leaves a lot...

Great location, great rooms. Had better breakfasts though. Ordered full English and it came with no beans. I asked for them and they came 10 minutes later with a hair on the side of the bowl. I needed to ask for my breakfast to be reheated in the Microwave as it had gone cold. We were going to have a...

After having a flight canceled and missing my train connection at Paddington Station, I didn't arrive in Exeter until 3:00 AM. Thankfully, someone at the Queens Court was still up to check me in, even though my reservation had me arriving 15 hours earlier. I was impressed by how friendly the clerk was, especially given the hour, and how quickly...

We booked through Travelzoo for a weekend break with 6 course taster dinner. The food was incredibly good, and the service from Archie & Ryan was just amazing. The attention to detail was 5 star quality in every respect. The hotel rooms are a bit tired but comfortable.

Excellent location and excellent breakfast with polite staff as well as a very nice room at the top of the hotel. It was nice to be able to have a choice of either a shower or a bath. The television showed a BT sport channel.

Had a very nice stay at this hotel. Easy quick check in. Helpful staff. Great choice of breakfast. Only thing I would say could be improved on is the bed. Not very comfortable. Location was very close to town centre.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Trip Advisor Award of excellence for the past 4 years is testament to the care and quality of this family run hotel in the heart of Exeter. The Queens Court Hotel is a beautiful Georgian town house situated on a leafy square in a city, which dates back to the medieval ages. All rooms are well appointed, all with en-suites. Relax in the bar and lounge or sit outside on the terrace. Visit the jewel in the crown of the Queen's Court, The Olive Tree restaurant. Multi-award winning, dine amongst the Venetian masks and enjoy the produce of the West Country. All the food is freshly prepared and cooked for you, drawing influences from Italy and the Mediterranean. The hotel is only a few minutes' walk from the high street, main train stations and very conveniently placed for the University. It is also fortunate to have a public car park on its doorstep that is free overnight and very reasonably priced in the day. Exeter is positioned in the Heart of Devon making it a great location to experience everything the West Country has to offer. ... more   less
