We spent one night at Hillside House in the autumn and we were very happy with our stay. The name Hillside is not entirely misleading; it is away from the seafront and up the valley slightly, although nowhere near as vertical as Lynton which is...More
We had a wonderful stay at the Hillside house. Denise and Jeff were amazing hosts and absolutely spoilt us! The breakfast was very nice every morning (8 to 9 am) and our puppy Jazzie got spoilt rotten with his breakfast sausage every morning and endless...More
Just back from 5 nights at the Hillside in Lynmouth, great location for exploring the area. Denise is the perfect hostess, feels more like staying with an old friend rather than a B&B. breakfast was excellent with great local produce.

Hi Margie, I am afraid I can'tell tell you about the car park as we didn't use it. Just a few yards down from the b&b on the same side was a parking bay with a 2 hour limit but if you worked it right you got free overnight parking. So if you park at 4pm you get your 2hrs then it finishes at 6pm and doesn'the come into force till 10am the next day so then you are ok then till 12pm, so you have got time to have breakfast and then go off for the day, which we did and come back after 4pm. The owner of the b&b told us how to do that and it worked perfectly for us and there was always space. Hope that doesn’t sound to complicated, it was easy honest!
