We had a lovely overnight stay at this charming B&B. Well appointed room with toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities. The view was quite lovely too. Breakfast was superb. We both had vegetarian options, the veggie full English was great but I definitely won with my order of vegetarian eggs Benedict. You have to try the homemade lemon curd, I was...

Hi Paula - we are really pleased you both enjoyed your stay with us. We try hard to cater for everyone with our breakfast options, so it was gratifying that you appreciated our efforts. We hope you will be able to visit us again in future as you are not too far away. Thank you again for taking the trouble...

The rooms were clean and welcoming, the food was lovely, just how an English B and B should be. The location is superb, great for walking and visiting the local attractions. Stunning views across the surrounding hills.

Stayed for one night whilst I was on a 2 day motorcycle trip. Heather's welcome was very friendly and warm. My single room was very compact but totally acceptable with a private bathroom near to the room. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and the view from the window spectacular! I had booked a 3 course evening meal...

A stay at Rockvale B & B, operated by Alwyn and Heather, is a delightful experience. The reception is warm; the facilities more than adequate; and the location central to the town. On the night my daughter and I were guests, we had the pleasure of watching a group of badgers make short work of some left over food scraps...

Hi Gary - thank you for taking the trouble to leave your wonderful review. Our badgers have been very popular this year, enjoying the leftover breakfast bits - though most people do not leave much! We hope you will both come again and hopefully see them again. Thanks again.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel but strict rules and times are insisted on for breakfast etc. the room was clean tidy and comfy and if you can handle the list of rules then we could recommend it. The location of this hotel is within walking distance to the heart of town.

Once again I would advise people looking for a top class B/B in Lynton, to go no further than the Rockvale. Superb in every way, and you would go to the far end of the country to better it. Alwyn and Heather deserve every accreditation they receive and you would be warmly welcomed as if you were o log lost...

My son and I have spent a couple of nights in this delightful B&B. Our rooms were very comfortable and clean with nice views across the valley. I loved snuggeling into my cosy bed at night after a long day's hike. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection to order and a really good choice of fresh fruit. The...

We had a lovely 4-night stay at Rockvale. Alwyn and Heather were perfect hosts, accommodating, attentive and not over-bearing. Breakfasts were amazing. The whole place was spotless and well-appointed. Comfortable beds and quiet location. Great views across the valley from the lounge. We stayed with our 11 month old daughter and were made to feel very welcome.

Had a short two-day break here whilst on way to Cornwall and received a friendly welcome from Alwyn. There was a lovely view over Lynton from my bedroom and the whole ambience was good. Although I have rated this as excellent with 5 stars I think realistically I would have to give it four and a half- for three reasons....
