Stayed here for two nights and couldn't rate it more highly! The place has charm and character and the owners while acknowledging they still have work to do have done their upmost to furnish it sensitively and in keeping with the history of the place!! The owners greeted us warmly and couldn't have done any more to make us feel...

First impression when you see it from the outside is not good but when step inside and meet the new owners that all changes. They are starting to renuvate this property so would be interested to return and see the progress. Excellent choice of food at breakfast . Vintage furniture which adds alot of character. Very friendly owners , give...

We stayed for one night on 18th October. Welcomed by the lovely Ruth who could not have been more helpful. We felt totally at home and our four poster bed was exquisite. Lovely fluffy towels. Excellent homemade biscuits on the tea tray. I never made it to breakfast but my husband Roger did, and he said it was delicious. They...

Parking is near by and there is the choice of 2 pay and display car parks or you may find off street parking although this is limited. Penny the owner greeted us on arrival and told us about several walks which were nearby around Lynton...

We were greeted by both our hosts, Penny and Paul, with a welcome cup of tea. They were both lovely throughout our stay. We did however feel that although they gave us the info we asked for, they could have given us more inside local knowledge. When we saw Paul dressed in his chef whites, we were expecting something special...

We spent a lovely Easter weekend in Lynton at Waterloo House. We stayed in the suite on the top floor which was a lovely surprise, spacious but homely and comfortable. Penny and Paul were perfect hosts and extremely welcoming. Our breakfast was cooked to perfection and the information supplied by Penny on where to go was spot on. We had...

I stayed at Waterloo House with my little dog, Paul and Penny made both of us very welcome, there was fresh milk in the fridge in our room, and delicious breakfast every morning, the bed in the single room was really comfortable and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean, I will definitely be returning.

I had stayed here before and brought a group this time. We weren't disappointed, the rooms are styled with lots of attention to detail, they were clean and comfortable and we slept very well. The owners, who run the B&B themselves, are very friendly and give you lots of tips about what to do in the area. The breakfast was...
