Visited with friends and stayed for three nights. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and I would stay there again without hesitation. Evening meals were enjoyed at the pub next door (Beggars Roost), tasty food, thank you Kev and Jan for your superb hospitality.

We decided to stay at the hotel following the glowing reviews on the site and were absolutely chuffed we did. From the moment we arrived Kevin & Jan couldn't do enough to ensure we had a glorious two night break. We had our mini schnauzer Colin along for the trip and he was greeted with just as much warmth as... More

We stayed at the hotel For one night and had a meal at the beggars roost next door (which is all owned by the lovely Kev and Jan) The room was immaculate, we were lucky to have room one which had a free standing roll top bath and a walk in shower, I'm fussy by nature but honestly couldn't fault... We booked the super king-size room at 120 pounds per night. The bed was far too low, rather hard, and very difficult to get out of for me, being less than flexible. We were moved to another room with a smaller but higher bed which was more suitable. On the next morning we did not put the little plaque on... More

Dear Valued Guest, What a shame….. our very first rating of less than ‘Good’ We are sad to note that you rated your stay as only ‘Average’. We aim for and in all other cases have achieved a rating of ‘Very Good’ or ‘Excellent’. We remember your visit and remember you specifically requested a Superking sized bed. However, after the... Just got back from a lovely couple of nights here. This small hotel is run by a really lovely couple who made us feel very welcome from the minute we arrived. So handy to have a cosy welcoming pub (also run by them) next door too! The location is fantastic to explore Exmoor & without paying the inflated prices of... More

Would highly recommend the Exmoor Manor - clean and comfortable rooms, quiet countryside location, superb food and friendly and attentive staff, for whom nothing seems too much trouble. An ideal base for exploring North Devon and all its attractions.

Had a fabulous weekend with dog. A welcoming stay for all of us. Great food, and nice to be able to eat next door at Beggars roost where the food was also top class. Easily accessible , but quiet location close to Lynton and Lynmouth with surrounding country walks. Highly recommended.

Upon arrival at the hotel, it looks beautiful. The owners were very friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is very tastefully decorated, and our room - a deluxe king room was beautiful. The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom huge and beautiful too. We stayed for two nights and ate in the restaurant both nights - the... More

This hotel/Beggars Roost Inn has had a somewhat chequered ownership history & as a result not perhaps the best reputation. However, it is now under new ownership and they've cracked it! A more warm welcome you couldn't ask for. ALL the staff were friendly & couldn't do enough for you. The hotel has been refurbished and the room was large,... More

We were hunting for a last minute short 3 day break on booking.com and were inspired by the reviews for the Exmoor Manor Hotel. It was refreshing to find somewhere which had obviously had a breath of new life about it, in style, features, facilities and welcome. During our stay we wandered about Lynmouth and saw several of the other... More
