We were hunting for a last minute short 3 day break on booking.com and were inspired by the reviews for the Exmoor Manor Hotel. It was refreshing to find somewhere which had obviously had a breath of new life about it, in style, features, facilities and welcome. During our stay we wandered about Lynmouth and saw several of the other...

Stayed for three nights. Jan and Kevin very welcoming and the hotel rooms are lovely. The food is excellent, good cooked breakfast and good choice of menu in the pub and also a lovely atmosphere in the bar. Would stay again with pleasure. It is a very good base for exploring North Devon,

We booked last minute and chose it because of the excellent reviews We were delighted to find the hotel lived up to and indeed exceeded these. It was welcoming, relaxed, friendly and excellent value for money. Would recommend having a meal and/or drink at the Beggars Roost pub next door

My partner and I stayed here for one night. The hotel is in a really convenient location just off the main road. The room was very clean and well presented. Jan was really helpful and welcoming and the breakfast was excellent! Would definitely visit again.

We like to drive and just book in somewhere...must say this is one of the best we have ever found. Jan and Kevin could not have been nicer if they had tried. We got the last room available which was a delight to stay in....looked out to the front of the building into the Green. Built nearly 400 years ago...

We have previously stayed in this hotel on a few occasions (as we regularly visit this area) and were then disappointed as the hotel was sad and dilapitated. This was taken over by new owners last year and we decided to try it again. The hotel refurbishment is very good. The decor is tasteful and the rooms are enhanced by...

The best wrong turn we've made in ages. Pulled in just to turn round, and decided to have a drink and lunch and ended up staying in Jan and Kevin's terrific hotel. Their level of personal touch and commitments to ensure our stay was enjoyable exceeded our expectation, enhanced by their friendly staff and molly the sheep. the hotel rooms...

Visited for a weekend with my husband, daughter, 10 week old granddaughter and dog and was so pleasantly surprised as we had read that the hotel hasn't been open for that long. We were welcomed by Jan who showed us to our stylish and comfy room. She had supplied a travel cot, a large double bed with a small single...

Stayed next door at Channel View so nice to have a pub next door. Big plus dog friendly and only 200m from campsite. Staff are fantastic very personal experience. Having once lived in the area nice to see an establishment taken over and prospering. Did not eat but food looked very very good. Keep up the good work, couple of...
