After a long walk in the rain from Porlock to Lynton, Dave offered to hang my wet clothes in the airing cupboard and dry my boots by the freshly lit fire in the living room. The room is basic but comfortable and has everything you need. Breakfast was good too; full English and a selection of cereals and yoghurts. Would... More

Hi Nice place Lynton and lynmouth, the guest house owner was really nice and welcoming. The rooms were quite small and same for the bathroom, the TV was small and there was no biscuits with the tea and coffee. The breakfast in the morning was really good, the proprietors were both very accommodation and helpful. Only issue is the early... More

Originally booked this through an internet search and I was very glad that I picked this one for the four of us (two couples). On arrival, we were made very welcome by Dave and Anne and shown to our respective double rooms which were spotlessly clean as was the en-suite. We knew we would be tired after a long drive,... Dave and Anne are good hosts - helpful and welcoming. They were happy to serve a meal early to fit in with my plans. Spotless room comfortable bed (I had a double room at the front looking onto the church and the hillside beyond). Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Don't get too excited about the fridge in the room... More

Dave and Anne make you feel very welcome. Great place to stay if you're walking the SW Coastal Path. Spotlessly clean and great full English breakfast. Free Wi-fi, free off street parking out of season and only a short walk from the town centre.

A weekend stay. Welcomed with a pot of tea( tea blended locally to suit the soft water) and shortbread whilst checking in. The room was on the first floor with a balcony. Good size room with en-suite shower. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Fresh milk in a little fridge, which is so much nicer than UHT milk pots. Close to... More
