This is a comfortable and well-run B&B. We were able to get in during the day at a time that suited us. The bed was very comfortable. Stoke village is a good area to stay if you're visiting Plymouth, it's quite central and generally a 'nice' area with parks nearby.

Great value B&B. The highlight (for me) was the most comfortable bed. We had a shared bathroom with separate WC but this was not a problem. Running water and basin in room with tea and coffee making facilities. Bus stop outside for all destinations or a 20 minute walk to city centre. Good filling breakfast with good choice from the...

Not sure how many more times I can review the Phantele and find new ways to say how wonderful the owners are. Stewart and Rebecca are always adapting the decor but the hospitality is always warm and friendly. They are always on hand to sort out any questions or problems you may have. I return every three months d it's...

I booked the Phantele, 4 rooms, 7 people, it was my special birthday and I needed somewhere for my family to stay. I can only give you their feed back as I didn't stay there. They all love the place, it was clean warm and friendly, the owners made them feel very welcome and the breakfast was to die for,...

The Phantele has to be one of the most charming places to stay in Plymouth. It's family run with a strong focus on service and comfort; making you feel looked after from the very beginning. Located only a 8 minutes drive from the centre, this lovely little B&B couldn't be any more ideal for anyone looking to stay somewhere cosy,...

Lovely family run guest house. Very accommodating, people were lovely, rooms were clean and what you needed with bathroom in the room. Breakfast was delicious, and even saw them staying cool under pressure from some very awkward guests. Eating of excellent from me!

2nd time we've stayed here on business. Excellent value, comfortable, clean and a really good breakfast. Always the impression that there's nothing that can't be done. Both times they have made sure we've had the best room, minimising climbing stairs if possible, changing rooms over a 2 night stay if we wanted to a nicer room. It won't be everyone's...

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a night away. The bed and breakfast was very clean, the room was clean and smelt lovely and the breakfast was one of the best breakfasts we've ever had. The owners were very welcoming and friendly and we will definitely recommend staying here to anyone and will stay again

A very hearty welcome to a very well done quirky decorated guest house. Really enjoyed my stay as you were made very welcome and homely. The bedrooms were greatly decorated as well as the hallway. The breakfast room had food for thought quirky memorabilia on the walls and the service was great. Highly recommended.
